## Rak'Thun Blood Tattoo Wondrous Item (tattoo), Artifact (requires attunement) Produced from within through the blood of Rak'Thun, this magic tattoo evokes fury in its form and crimson red color. **Tattoo Attunement.** To attune to this item, meditate during a short rest and focus the tattoo to appear on your body throughout the attunement process. When the attunement is complete, the blood seeps through your skin to form the patterns and becomes the tattoo, which appears on the skin. If your attunement to the tattoo ends, the tattoo vanishes and is reabsorbed into your body until you focus on attuning on it again. The tattoo has 12 charges, and it regains all expended charges daily at dawn. While this tattoo is on your skin and you are attuned to it, you gain the following benefits: - When you roll damage for a melee attack with a weapon, you can reroll the weapon’s damage dice and use the higher of the two. - Your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20 on the d20 - You gain a +2 bonus to AC and saving throws if you are wearing no armor and using no shield. - You gain resistance to fire damage. - Difficult terrain doesn't cost you extra movement. - Magical effects can neither reduce your speed nor cause you to be paralyzed, petrified or restrained. - Your unarmed strikes are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming immunity and resistance to nonmagical attacks, and you gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls with unarmed strikes and they deal 1d4 bludgeoning or slashing damage instead of regular 1 damage unless it is already higher. - When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can expend a charge to deal an extra 4d6 necrotic damage to the target, and you regain a number of hit points equal to the necrotic damage dealt and you gain temporary hit points equal to any excess healing . - When a creature you can see damages you, you can expend a charge and use your reaction to make a melee attack against that creature, with advantage on your attack roll. - As a bonus action, you can spend 2 charges to briefly disappearing into a mist of blood, you teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space that you can see. - When you take damage, you can use your reaction and spend 4 charges to become insubstantial like a mist of blood for a moment, halving the damage you take.
