Plantoid
Plantoids are human-plant hybrids that have the benefits and detriments of being both animal and plant. They are most at home in the outdoors and can feel suffocated in large cities and towns. Their closeness to nature is second to none.
Plantoid Features
- Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 2 and your Constitution score increases by 1.
- Age. Plantoids mature rapidly, typically reaching adulthood in 10 years. Despite their quick growth, it is unknown how old they typically get. Rumors say there are some plantoids that are hundreds of years old.
- Size. Plantoids typically grow to be between 5 and 7ft tall.
- Speed. Your base walking speed is 30ft
- Creature Type. Your creature type is Plant.
- Tremorsense. You can feel the vibrations of creatures walking or running around on the same surface as you. As long as a creature within 60ft is in contact with the same surface as you, you know their exact location, even if they are behind full cover or are invisible.
- Plant Body. Due to the unique nature of your body being both humanoid and plant, you gain a +1 bonus to your AC and you gain 1 additional hit point per level. Additionally, when you spend Hit Dice to regain hit points, you may add your proficiency bonus to the roll for each Hit Die spent.
- Flammable.: Your plant nature makes you vulnerable to Fire damage.
- Weed Walker. You ignore rough terrain caused by dense plants or magical vegetation.
- One with Nature. You gain proficiency with the Nature skill and may add your Wisdom bonus to any Nature check you make.
- Nature Magic. Innately magical, you are able to cast a limited amount of nature spells at will. Wisdom is your spellcasting modifier for these spells. You know the druidcraft and thorn whip cantrips. Once you reach certain levels, you can cast specific spells once per day without expending a spell slot. 3rd level: entangle, 5th level: spike growth.
- Languages. You speak Common and Sylvan.
