Vivisectionist Specialist

When procuring medicine and surgical knowledge, there tends to be a moral barrier that divides different methods of learning anatomy and physiology. A Vivisectionist ignores their morals or humanity all for the sake of science, dissecting and killing to get a better grasp at the body to heal others. Some may call you mad, but can they really call you mad after you dissect them and harvest their organs? wait... don't answer that.

Vivisectionist Spells

At 3rd level you always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Alchemist Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don't count against the number of artificer spells you prepare.

Tool Proficiency

At 3rd level when you pick this subclass you gain proficiency with Leatherworker's Tools, if you already are proficient with Leatherworker's then you gain proficiency with another type of artisan’s tools

Macabre Surgeon

At 3rd level you may heal a single creature other than yourself over the course of 10 minutes, that creature then gains the benefits of a short rest for the purposes of regaining class features, additionally you may expend hit dice in order to heal the creature for a number of d6s equal to the expended hit dice, adding your PB to each individual role.

After performing this ability on a creature they have disadvantage on constitution saving throws and charisma checks until they take a short or long rest to let their mended wounds heal.

Grim Recycling

At 5th level over the course of 1 hour or short rest you may dissect a dead creature who has died within the past 24 hours, regaining 1d4 spell slots of 3rd or lower, or alternatively you may gain 1d4 hit dice. You can only do this once per dead creature and you can only perform this ability a number of times equal to your INT modifier before needing a long rest to regain use of this ability.

Resourceful Dissection

At 9th level you may use your action on an unconscious or restrained inccapacitated creature within 5ft of you, make a melee spell attack against the creature, gaining the benefit of Grim Recycling and dealing 4d4 magical piercing or slashing damage to the creature.

Cruel Anatomist

At 15th you may use Resourceful Dissection against any creature that is inccapacitated. Additionally any living creature that is affected by Resourceful Dissection must make a constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or else die. You may only kill a creature with this feature once per long rest.
