Way of the Monkey King

You have trained in the martial arts of the mythical Monkey King, who was renowned for his incredible strength, agility, and cunning. Way of the Monkey King are able to imbue their special quarterstaff with ki and manipulate the size and length of the staff to push and squash their foes. Riding clouds is pretty cool too.

Expertise

With your knowledge and combat prowess with a Quarterstaff. You gain Expertise with a Quarterstaff

Bonus Proficiency

You Gain Proficiency in the Stealth and Acrobatics Skills.

The Magic Quarterstaff

At 3rd level, you can make any quarterstaff at will into your monk weapon and you can channel ki into a Quarterstaff thats your monk weapon. You can spend ki points to do one of the following actions:

  • Extend: you can spend a number of ki points and extend it by 5 feet in a direction of your choice and every creature hit by the stick have to make a Dexterity Saving Throw against your Stick Save DC or be pushed back the number of feet extended

  • Spin: you can spend up to 3 ki points and spin that many times and you make an attack roll and all creatures hit are spun around, knocked prone, and they become dazed for how many time they were spun.

  • Crush: You can spend up to 2 ki points and add that many points to the Stick Save DC and your stick grows to 5 feet in diameter and 10 feet long and all creature in front of you make Strength (Acrobatics) or Dexterity (Athletics) Save against your Stick Save DC on a fail the creatures take Stick die + Martial die of damage

Some skills require a Stick Save DC which is calculated below.

Stick Save DC = 8 + Proficiency Bonus + Dexterity Modifier

Nimble Movement

At 6th level, You've become faster in your movements and your reactions are impeccable.

  • Your movement speed increases by 10 feet

When a hostile creature attacks or ends its turn within 5 feet of you can use your reaction to move up to half your movement speed and doesn't provoke opportunity attack.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Dexterity Modifier and gain all uses after a short or long rest.

Cloud Surfer

At 11th level, You have gained the ability to ride clouds. You can use 3 Ki points to summon a cloud in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of you Cloud Stats below:

  • Flying speed of 60 feet
  • You can attack from the cloud
  • You can become invisible on the cloud

The Cloud last a number of minutes equal to your Wisdom Modifier.

Inner Clone

At 17th level, You gain the ability to make an exact clone of yourself.

You can use and action and 5 ki points to summon a clone of yourself within 30 feet of you, the clone copies your stats and is after your initiative. You can have up to 2 clones and the clones last for a number minutes equal to your Wisdom Modifier. Some other Clone Actions below:

  • You can use an action to swap places with the clone if one is within 30 feet of you.

  • You gain Advantage on Deception checks within 10 feet of the clone.

  • You can use your action and make a clone attack.

  • When you hit 0 Hit Points you can swap places with a clone one is within 30 feet of you.
