___ ## Bard: College of War Songs The moral of an army is an extremely important aspect of war. Losing moral and momentum is one of the fastest way an army can lose its battles.
To compensate, musicians that play either drums or bagpipes are sent to the frontline to keep the army's moral and momentum to an all time high. ### Bonus Proficiencies When you join the College of War Songs at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with martial melee weapons. Additionally, you can use your melee weapon as a spellcasting focus for your bard spells. ### Battle Presence Starting at 3rd level, you learn how to maneuver the battlefield all while performing your songs.
While you are not holding a shield, you can use your Charisma modifier instead of your Dexterity modifier for your AC. ### Rhythm of War Starting at 3rd level, your war songs during battles empower your allies.
When a creature that has a Bardic Inspiration die from you makes a weapon attack, it can use the Inspiration Die to gain advantage on the attack roll and regain hit points equal to the number rolled. \columnbreak
___ ### Song of Retaliation Starting at 6th level, you learn how to boost the fighting spirit of your wounded comrades.
When an ally you can see within 15 feet of you is damaged, you can use your reaction to allow that ally to move half its movement and make a weapon attack.
You can use this feature a number of time equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. You regain 1 expended use anytime an ally suffers a critical hit. ### Victory Through Power Starting at 14th level, the victories of your companions encourages you to further inspire them.
Weapon attacks made through your Rhythm of War and Song of Retaliation features score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
Additionally, you regain 1 expended Bardic Inspiration die anytime an ally reduces a creature to 0 hit point through those features.
