Chocobo Whistle

A small hand-carved whistle that emits a unique, high-pitched tone discernible only by a chocobo trained from birth to recognize and respond to the sound. Use to summon your personal chocobo to help you flee.
When used, a Rescue Chocobo will come running to pick up the user and help them escape from battle, taking them to the nearest settlement. If the user is medium sized or smaller, the Rescue Chocobo may carry up to one other medium sized creature. A Rescue Chocobo will pick up a creature with its beak to place it on its back, in case the user or the accompanying creature are unconscious or unable to climb up.
Once the Rescue Chocobo arrives to a settlement, up to a fifth part of the user's valuables will be magically extracted by the bird, considering both the user's currency and their belongings; the priority will be the money the user carries with them, followed by common items, clothes, armor, weapons and magical items.
A Rescue Chocobo will prioritize escaping with the user, even before its own protection, as long as it seems possible. This stops being true if the user voluntarily gets off the chocobo and asks it to leave or attacks it. If the chocobo is still carrying another creature, it will take them to the nearest settlement anyways; if not, it will just run off.
The Whistle will summon a different Chocobo depending on who uses it, no same Chocobo will show up for two different people. If the user has previously attacked the Chocobo, the bird will choose to not show up until a month has passed from the attack. The Whistle may not be used by the same person twice in the same 24 hours.
Rescue Chocobo
The most common breed of chocobo, trained especially to rescue you. Fleet of foot, the Rescue Chocobo is ideal for traveling long distances and carrying most riders. Chocobos are stout-hearted creatures, but they have their limits.

Weak Fliers Even with creatures on its back, a Rescue Chocobo won't start considering falling damage until it has fallen 50 feet. Also, any falling damage it recieves is reduced by half.
Rescue Aura Any creature riding on the Rescue Chocobo's back becomes stable. This has no effect on undead or constructs.
