Pact of the Dragon

Damage of Dragons

Starting at first level, your patron merely extends their hand towards you in offer of their power. Once per turn, you can deal extra damage equal to your warlock level to one creature you hit with an attack or spell from your patron of choice on the table down below. This damage does not double on a critical hit nor are you allowed to have more than 1 dragon under pact. Dragons do greed, especially for their hoard.


Dragon Patron

Choose from the list of Dragon Types to make a pact with or let your DM decide. These dragons must be ancient, but who says they gotta live for you to keep your power?

Enhanced Vision

1st level gives a boost to your senses. If you do not have darkvision, you gain 90 ft. If you have the standard 60 ft, it becomes 90 ft. If you already have extended dark vision such as the Drow, you gain an extra 30 ft.


Draconic Tongue

At 1st level, you learn to speak, read, and write Draconic and one other language of your choice


Frightful Presence

Starting at 6th level you can strike the fear of your patron's strength into anyone.

As an action a number of creatures equal to your Charisma modifier of your choice that is within 60 feet and aware of you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or become frightened of you for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.


Draconic Reflection

At 6th level your patron grants a boon of mercy, guarding you from their natural born power association. You are now resistant to the damage type of your patron.


Extreme Perception

At level 6th, you gain blindsight.

Blindsight. You gain blindsight out to 20 feet. Within that range, you can effectively see anything that isn’t behind total cover, even if you’re blinded or in darkness. Moreover, you can see an invisible creature within that range, unless the creature successfully hides from you.


Flight of the Dragon

From 10th level, your patrons freedom becomes a wonder.

As a bonus action, you grow large ethereal wings that grant you a flying speed of 60 feet and last for 1 hour. Once this feature is used, it can’t be used again until you finish a long rest.

These wings take form of whatever dragon you have made your pact with.

At 14th level, while your wings are out you are immune to the damage type of your patron.

Breath of the Dragon

Starting at 10th, you are granted to embody your patron's inner essence.

Your dragon pact determines the kind of breath weapon used. Each breath weapon deals 35 (10d6) pact damage. You use your spellsave DC for Breath of the Dragon.

Line You exhale your breath weapon in an 90-foot line that is 10 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a saving throw according to the table, taking full damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Cone You exhale your breath weapon in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a saving throw according to the table, taking full damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Targeted AOE If your pact is of the Solar dragon then you have a visual distance of 150 ft with a damaging effect of 20 ft radius sphere. Each creature in that area must make a saving throw according to the table, taking full damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

You can use your Breath of the Dragon twice, once this feature is used you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.


Embrace your inner Dragon

At 14th level, you have now been allowed a great power thanks to your patron. You may now use the spell Shapechange to transform into your respective patron's form at an adult stage if it is available. If the form is not available then you can transform into the singular or greatest form.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
