# Aether Druid Aether Druids believe Nature and Magic are related and intertwined. They study Nature and Magic alike, but stay close to traditions nonetheless.
## Circle of Aether
### Primal recuperation *You know how to pull back the strings of magic that spill out of a failed spell, and nurture your primal magic with it.* Starting at level 2, when at least one creature gets a success on a saving throw against a non-cantrip spell you cast, if that spell have no effect due to that or those success, you gain a number of wild aether charges equal to the level of that spell. Similarly, when you fail a spell attack roll made for a non-cantrip spell you cast and that spell have no effect due to that fail, you gain a number of wild aether charges equal to the level of that spell. As a bonus action, you can exchange PB wild aether charges to regain an expanded use of Wild Shape. ### Primal Knowledge *With time and practice, you learn how to bend reality under your will with practically no effort.* Additionally, at level 2 and every odd level after it, you can choose one spell from the druid spell list and one spell from the wizard spell list. You have those spells always prepared, but they don't count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. You can only choose spells with the ritual tag, and they must be spells of a level you have a spell slot of. ### Aether Recycling *Arcane, back to arcane* Starting at 6th level, as an action, you can exchange wild aether charges to regain an expended spell slot. The number of charges needed are equal to twice the level of that slot. \columnbreak
### Duality *Nature and Arcane are but two faces of the same coin.* In addition, starting at 6th level, you can add your Intelligence modifier to any Wisdom-related check or saving throw, and you can add your Wisdom modifier to any intelligence-related check or saving throw. You can do so PB times and you regain expanded uses after you finish a long rest. ### Tribal rituals *For an Aether Druid, there is no such thing as a mindless beast.* Starting at level 10, while you're in Wild Shape, you can cast a spell you have prepared with the ritual tag as a ritual, without providing verbal or somatic components. The total duration of the cast is added to the remaining time of that use of Wild Shape. You can only use this feature once per use of Wild Shape. ### Dynamic Reuse Starting at 14th level, when you gain wild aether charges with your Primal Recuperation feature, you can choose to spend them all immediately, plus your reaction and any number of charges you already have. If you do, you can cast a spell you have prepared that is of a level up to half the number of charges spent without spending a spell slot. ### Body and Mind *Your study of Nature and Aether provide you a better understanding of your very self.* In addition, starting at 14th level, you can add your Wisdom and Intelligence modifiers to the Constitution checks you roll to maintain Concentration, and you keep this feature and the Duality feature while transformed by your Wild Shape.
