College of Synesthesia

Those of the college of Synesthesia are the most musically inclinded of most colleges. You picked to follow this college because you are intuned with sound around you. Everything follows to the beat of your songs. The world, to you, stays on beat. The sounds of the footfalls of people, the impact of fists and swords, everything follows the beat, created by you. With you fighting, crowds of people can't help but chant your name.

Rock on, future Rockstar.

The Rush

At 3rd level, you gain the ability to cast thaumaturgy if you haven't already.

Also, you have the ability to merge one of your martial weapons with your instrument into one that doesn't have the special property. The shape and appearance of your weapon is up to you. Your weapon keeps the statistics otherwise. You cannot be disarmed with this weapon and can dismiss it as a bonus action or call it to your hand as a bonus action. You can still play your instrument and make it produce music this way.

You can choose to make a new instrument weapon after performing a 1 hour ritual.

Beat Finish

Also at 3rd Level, you manifest your ability to move to the beat with Beat Finishes. You learn Beats.

Beats. You learn two Beats of your choice. Beats can be used after any of your attacks, spell casting. Beats use one of your bardic inspiration feature unless stated overwise.

You learn one more Beat at 6th level and 14th level.

Also, when initiative is rolled, if you rolled a odd or a even number, every time you rolled a odd or even number on any of your attacks there after, you can use a beat without expending one of your bardic die.

Duet-Partner

At 6th level, if your allies have one of your bardic inspiration die, instead of using it as normal, they can use one of your beats for themselves if they can see or hear you with 30ft.

Some Call This Teamwork

At 14th level, you are a true rockstar. But no rockstar can function without their band performing in sync. When your ally uses one of your Beat Finishes with your bardic inspiration, if their attacks land on a odd or even number as per your Beat Finish feature, they don't have to use up the Bardic Inspiration.

Beats

Climax Finish

When you hit a creature with your Instrument weapon, the creature takes an additional amount of damage equal to one of your Bardic Inspiration die.

Reverb

When you cast a spell that deals damage, you can expend a number of Bardic Inspiration uses equal to the spell's level (cantrips use 1). The target takes half of the damage dealt by the spell at the start of their next turn.

Arpeggio Parry

When you would be struck by an attack, you can use your reaction to increase your AC by an amount equal to the value rolled by your Bardic Inspiration die until the start of your next turn. If the result is a odd or even number as per your Beat Finish Feature, you can add +1 more to your AC.

Double-Riff

When you make an attack against a creature with your Instrument Weapon, you can make another creature make an attack against the same creature as a part of your attack action.

Backup Singer

If you are within 5ft of a creature, expending a bardic die, you can switch places with that target. Both you and the creature increase AC do the die roll until your next turn. This movement doesn't provoke opportunity attack.

Up to 11

When you cast a spell that deals damage, you can expend a number of Bardic Inspiration to increase damage as well as making the target deften until your next turn.

Rhythm Dodge

When you make an attack, you can roll a bardic die to move an additional ft as a result of the die. This doesn't provoke opportunity attacks.

Battle the Bands

When an enemy attacks you and misses, you can use your bardic die to make another attack with your reaction, adding your attack and damage roll with this bardic die

Power Slide!

When you attack, you can roll your bardic die and turn the damage of your attack into a 15ft cone. Adding your bardic die to your damage. You use the same attack roll for the other targets.

HIBIKI!

When you cast a spell that deals thunder damage and uses verbal components, you can make the spell target all creatures in a radius surrounding you within 30ft that can hear you.

Overdrive Slash

When you attack, you can roll your bardic die and after damage, lower the AC of the target by the amount of the bardic die until your next turn.
