Steps

At 3rd level, you gain one Step options listed below, which you may use while not wearing Medium or Heavy armor by expending a use of Bardic Inspiration. You gain an additional Step at 6th level and one more at 14th and may change the steps you know for another when you level in this class. You can use only one Step option per turn.

  • Mesmerizing Hip Sway As an action, expend a use of Bardic Inspiration, a Creature chosen by you who is within 30 feet and can see you must must make a Wisdom saving throw versus your spell save DC or be Charmed until the end of their turn, at the start of their turn they must move a number of feet equal to the number rolled on your Bardic Inspiration die x 5 up to their speed towards you.

  • Spell Sashey As a bonus action after you cast a spell of 1st level or higher, expend a use of Bardic Inspiration, you teleport to an unoccupied space that you can see within 10 feet when the spell is finished casting, if the triggering spell targets a single Creature, damage it does is increased by the amount rolled on your Bardic Inspiration die, if this damage would use multiple damage types, choose one to increase.

  • Dance through the Danger As a bonus action, expend a use of Bardic Inspiration, you and your allies within 10 feet of you are unaffected by difficult terrain until you move less than 5 feet on your turn, perform another Step or 10 minutes has passed.

  • Quickstep As a bonus action, expend a use of Bardic Inspiration, your speed is increased by 10 feet and you may take the dash action as a bonus action until you move less than 5 feet on your turn, perform another Step or 10 minutes has passed.

  • Do-Si-Do As a reaction when an Ally you can see within 5 feet of you is the target of an attack and there is a reasonable path you may travel to reach them (determined by the DM), expend a use of Bardic Inspiration to swap positions with that willing Ally and become the new target for that attack, your ally is immune to opportunity attacks when swapping positions with you this way (if this attack does not require a roll to hit, such as Magic Missile, it instead hits its intended target), your AC for the triggering attack is increased by the amount rolled on your Bardic Inspiration die.

  • Waltz Away As a reaction when you are attacked, expend a use of Bardic Inspiration, you may move 5 feet without provoking attack of opportunity, reduce the damage from the triggering attack by the amount rolled on your Bardic Inspiration die + your Bard level, if this would reduce the damage to 0, the attack misses.

  • Let's Tango As part of your movement, expend a use of Bardic Inspiration, you take hold of a willing Ally's free hand and dance with them, you and your Ally move together on adjacent spaces up to your remaining speed, to a maximum of half your allies speed, both you and your allies AC are increased by an amount totaling the number rolled on your Bardic Inspiration die divided equally between you.

  • Pirouette Kick As part of a melee attack, expend a use of Bardic Inspiration, you spin round and strike a Creature with an unarmed attack, the attack uses dexterity and is made with proficiency, the damage of this attack is increased by the amount rolled on your Bardic Inspiration die.

A Maniac on the Floor

At 3rd level, you may stand from prone with 5 feet of movement and your long jump distance is increased by your Dexterity modifier.

Dance magic, Dance

At 6th level, your Performance checks made to dance have advantage and Creatures who dance with you make their dancing Performance checks as if they had proficiency.

Lets dance the night away

At 14th level, you may use a Step option without spending Bardic Inspiration, instead you roll a d4 and use that result. Additionally, when you use a Step, you may move 5 feet.
