Eldritch Invocations

Golden Familiar.

Prerequisites : Jinxed Gold Patron, Pact of the Chain

When you conjure a familiar trough your pact of the chain, the familiar gains the following properties :

  • It is made of gold
  • It becomes a construct instead of its other creature types
  • It gains a bonus to its AC equal to your charisma modifier
  • You gain +1d4 to all your charisma ability checks when the familiar is within 10 feet of you
Golden Materials.

Prerequisites : Jinxed Gold Patron, Pact of the Tome

When you cast a spell which requires the use of a material component with a cost, you can instead use any object made of pure gold of a same value that hasn't been created or altered by magic to replace that costy component.

Golden Talisman.

Prerequisites : Jinxed Gold Patron, Pact of the Talisman

You gain +1d4 to all your charisma ability checks when you have your talisman on yourself. Moreover, you can cast Fast Friend without expending a spell slot. When you cast that spell this way, you can't do it again until you finish a short or a long rest.

Golden Weapon.

Prerequisites : Jinxed Gold Patron, Pact of the Blade

Your pact weapon becomes made of gold and you can use your charisma instead of your strength or dexterity for attack and damage rolls you make with that weapon. If the weapon wasn't magical, it becomes magical and you can add +1 to attacks and damage rolls you make with it.

Gold Finger

Starting at 1st level, you learn the Shape Gold cantrip and the Distort Value and Incite Greed spells. Those spells are warlock spells for you but don't count toward the number of warlock spells you can learn.

You can cast Distort Value at will, without expending a spell slot.

Moreover, you can also cast Incite Greed without expending a spell slot by using this feature. When you do so, you must use an object made of gold worth at least 50gp instead of a gem as its material component.

Once you have cast Incite Greed this way, you can't do it again until you finish a long rest.

Shape Gold

Transmutation cantrip

  • Casting Time: 1 action
  • Range: 30 feet
  • Components: S
  • Duration: Instantaneous, 1 minute or 1 hour

You choose an area of gold that you can see within range and that fits within a 5-foot cube like a pile of coins or a golden object. You manipulate it in one of the following ways:

  • If the target is an object that isn't worn or carried, you instantaneously pull it in your hand.
  • You cause the gold to form into simple shapes and animate at your direction. This change lasts for 1 hour. You can for instance merge multiple coins into a small statue for instance.
  • You change the gold into an other metal of lesser value. This change lasts for 1 hour.
  • You liquefy the target or solidify it, provided that there are no creatures in it. The change lasts for 1 hour. While liquefied this way, the gold stays magically cold.

If you cast this spell multiple times, you can have no more than two of its non-instantaneous effects active at a time, and you can dismiss such an effect as an action.

Alternatively, you can touch a medium or smaller object and turn it into gold for 1 minute.

At Higher Levels. The size of the area you can control increases to a 10-foot cube when you reach 5th level, to 15-foot cube when you reach 11th, and to 30-foot cube when you reach 17th.

Shining Armor

When you reach 6th level, you gain proficiency with medium armors and shields. when you wear an armor made of metal, it becomes made of gold instead for as long as you wear it. While wearing it, you can use your charisma instead of your dexterity to determine your AC and you roll charisma saving throws with advantage.

Devil's Bribe

At 6th level, you now regain the possibility to cast Incite Greed through your Gold Finger feature when you finish a short rest. Moreover, when you cast Incite Greed, its range becomes 60ft..

Cursed Treasure

Starting at 10th level, when you are victim of a cursed item, you can, during a short or a long rest, use your powers to end the curse on yourself. When you do so, you can still use the item and benefit from its positive effects normally, but you don't suffer its negative features anymore. You can only ignore the effects of one curse at a time. If you use this feature again on a second item, you are affected by the curse of the first one again.

In addition, when you carry a cursed item, you can, as an action, extend its curse to all the creatures within 10 feet of you. Each creature in that area must succeed a charisma saving throw against your spell save DC or be affected by the curse of your item as if they became attuned to it.

Ecstasy of Gold

Starting at 14th level, you can, as an action, extend your power to encompass everything within a 30-foot sphere around you. When you do so, all objects in the area are changed into gold for the next hour, and each creature within its radius must succeed a constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or be changed into a golden statue for the next hour.

While changed into a golden statue, a creature becomes an object : It can't move, take actions, bonus actions or reactions, and it can't concentrate on a spell or feature. Moreover, as long as it is in the form of a golden statue, it can't take any damage nor suffer any condition and can't regain hit points.

A remove curse spell can change a golden statue or an object affected by this feature back to its normal form.

Once you have used this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
