Serrated Edge of Ultimate Doom
Weapon (any one handed weapon that deals slashing damage, or dagger), Legendary
Legend tells of a weapon so powerful, it can slay its target without even touching it. Only a master swordsman who has studied the blade his entire life could hope to wield such a monstrous weapon. Those unfit to wield it recoil in fear, afraid of what could happen if they anger its wielder. This weapon tears not only flesh, but the human mind, as well as the very fabric of time and space.
+3 Weapon
You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with the Serrated Edge of Ultimate Doom.
Terrifying Visage
When a creature that is proficient in all martial weapons that can see the Serrated Edge of Ultimate Doom starts its turn within 30 feet of the Serrated Edge of Ultimate Doom, it must make a DC 20 Wisdom Saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 8d6 psychic damage and is stunned until the start of its next turn, as its mind collapses while trying to figure out how to wield the Serrated Edge of Ultimate Doom. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and isn't stunned.
Whenever a creature succeeds the Saving throw against the Serrated Edge of Ultimate Doom, it's psychic damage is permanently reduced by 1d6 against that creature, as it begins to work out the technique required to wield such a powerful weapon, or, more likely, gives up on trying to understand it.
Unless surprised, a creature can avert its eyes to avoid the Saving throw at the start of its turn. If the creature does so, it can't see the Serrated Edge of Ultimate Doom or its wielder until the start of its next turn, when it can avert its eyes again. If the creature looks at the Serrated Edge of Ultimate Doom in the meantime, it must immediately make the save.
