Nature Domain (Revised)

Divine Domain

At 1st level, a Cleric gains the Divine Domain feature.
The following Nature Domain (Revised) option is
available to a Cleric, in addition to those in the
Player's Handbook and other official options.

Nature Domain (Revised)

Gods of nature are as varied as the natural world itself;
from inscrutable gods of the deep forests (such as
Silvanus, Obad-Hai, Chislev, Balinor, and Pan) to friendly deities associated with particular springs and groves
(such as Eldath). Druids revere nature as a whole and
might serve one of these deities, practicing mysterious
rites and reciting all-but-forgotten prayers in their own
secret tongue.

But many of these gods have clerics as well, champions who take a more active role in advancing the interests of a particular nature god. These clerics might hunt the evil monstrosities that despoil the woodlands, bless the harvest
of the faithful, or wither the crops of those who anger their gods.

Domain Spell

1st level Nature Domain Feature

You always have the spells from the table below prepared once you reach certain levels in this class. See the Divine Domain class feature for how Domain Spells work.

When you gain a Cleric level, you can replace one spell from this feature with a conjuration, enchantment, or transmutation spell of the same level from the Druid spell list.

Nature Domain Spell
Cleric Level Spells
1st animal friendship, entangle
3rd summon beast TCoE , spike growth
5th conjure animals, plant growth
7th dominate beast, guardian of nature XGtE
9th insect plague, tree stride

Acolyte of Nature

1st level Nature Domain Feature

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you learn the druidcraft cantrip and one other cantrip of your choice from the druid spell list. These cantrips count as cleric cantrips for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of cleric cantrips you know. You also gain proficiency in one of the following skills of your choice: Animal Handling, Nature, or Survival.

Speech of the Forest

1st level Nature Domain Feature

Also at 1st level, you have the ability to communicate with animals and plants. Beasts and plants can understand your speech, and you gain the ability to decipher their noises, movement and motions. This ability does not grant you any special friendship with beasts and plants, though you can combine this ability with gifts to curry favor with them as you would with any nonplayer character.

Channel Divinity: Sacred Grove

2nd level Nature Domain Feature

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel
Divinity to conjure a sacred grove to rejuvenate your
allies.

You present your holy symbol and spend 10 minutes in a ritual of meditations and prayers, then you conjure a sheltered grove of trees surrounding a shallow spring that lasts for a number of hours equal to your proficiency bonus. The grove appears from nowhere even in the most barren, rocky soil regardless of season. The grove is centered on you, has a 20 feet radius while the spring has 10 feet radius, and the area within the grove is temperate and comfortable.

The water in the grove’s spring is clean and drinkable. Additionally, the trees provide a number of sacred fruits equal to 1 + your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1) that provide enough nourishment to sustain a creature for one day. When a creature eats the sacred fruit, they gain temporary hit points equal to 5 + your cleric level and one of the effects below:

  • The creature regains hit points equal to your proficiency bonus.
  • The creature is instantly cured of one disease or neutralizes one poison afflicting it.

Once the feature expires or when you end it as an action, the grove vanishes, including all fruits, water, and other materials from it, although any nourishment, healing, or temporary health gained from its effects still remains.

Dampen Elements

6th level Nature Domain Feature

Starting at 6th level, you can protect your allies from elemental damage. When you or a creature within 30 feet of you takes acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage, you can use your reaction to grant resistance to the creature against that instance of the damage.

   Blessed Strikes

                       8th level Nature Domain Feature

Starting at 8th level, you are blessed with primal                      might in battle. When a creature takes damage                                 from one of your cleric cantrips or weapon                              attacks, you can also deal 1d8 acid, cold, fire,                          or lightning (your choice) damage to that                                  creature. Once you deal this damage, you                             can't use this feature again until the start of                        your next turn.

           Master of Nature

              17th level Nature Domain Feature

                 Starting at 17th level, your
                       devotion towards your nature
deity grants your power to manipulate
the natural world around you. Once
you finish a long rest, you can choose
one of the options below and you
gain that effect that lasts until
the end of the next long rest.

One with Nature

Your devotion towards your nature deity is acknowledged by the creatures of the natural world and they see you as one of them. When a beast or plant creature you can see moves into a space within 30 feet of you or starts its turn there, you can force the creature to make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature is charmed by you for 24 hours or until you or one of your companions harms the creature.

While it is charmed by you, it is friendly to you and other creatures you designate. On a successful save, the creature is immune to this effect of this feature for 24 hours.

Beasts and plants with an Intelligence of 4 or higher are aware of this before they come        near you and if they fail the saving throw, they are                   charmed by you for 1 minute instead or until you or         one of your companations harms the creature.

  Grow as one

Your devotion towards                    your nature deity            grants you the ability                 to blossom plants                around you.                           Areas within 30 ft radius                 of you are                        constantly under the effect     of an action cast of                     plant growth. Creatures of       your choice within                      the radius can ignore the        effect of this                                  feature.
