Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. The shade regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn. ***cantrip.*** the shade casts one of its cantrips ***firey eyes (costs 2 actions)*** the shade focuses their fearful gaze upon its target, the creature is frightened (Wisdom save DC 15) this effect can last for a maximum of two of the creature's turns, the frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a successful DC 12 wisdom save. If a target’s saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the target is immune to the shade’s gaze for the next 24 hours. ***cast spell (costs 2 actions)*** the shade moves half its movement and can cast either of its 2/day spells ***retaliation*** if a creature has just damaged the shade, then the shade can make an attack against the creature who has just harmed it in retaliation, the shade automatically deals half damage from this attack ### reactions
