Behemoth Race

A MASSIVE PURPLE FURRED BEAST WITH A GOLDEN mane and wicked horns stood before him. Claude prepared for the inevitable scuffle and pulled out his greatsword as he sized up his opponent.

The beast, who nearly stood the adventuerer's height to its shoulder rose up on two legs to loom over him. Without a sound, besides the sound of its footsteps, it approached him, sizing him up in turn. The monster stood before him and then in a deep rumbling voice it asked with a regal voice, "Hello! Do you perchance know the directions to the nearest town? I seem to have gotten lost."

Claude paused for a moment, in confusion an awe before pointing east. The beast thanked him for his time, got back onto all fours and ran off.

A Regal Monster

Despite their monstrous appearance, behemoth society is an ordered one. While, physical power is important, all follow the most powerful behemoth. The behemoth king.

Beyond the love of physical exertion, they live like any other society does, although perhaps even more ordered, since they get their frustrations out physically, and as a result know precisely why you shouldn't mess with the local barkeeper.

Wandering Giants

Behemoths mostly encounter the smaller races when they're traveling, for one reason or another. But, due to their immense size and propensity for traveling on all fours, they're often mistaken for some sort of giant monster. Although technically true, this misunderstanding has lead to many a dead adventurer and the occasional dead behemoth which is taken as a trophy.

Star Callers

None truly know the connection that bonds a behemoth to the heavens. What the few who have survived a fight with a behemoth do know, however, is that they can call a meteor down to strike down their opponents.
