# Otherworldly Patron: The Bloody Grail
The Dwarf couldn’t help but smile as they draped themself in the crimson sacrament of the guard that lay bloodied, their larynx torn from their throat. Horror, disgust, and fear had shaken the onlookers, but they stood in a transfixed anticipation as the blood coating the Dwarf's lips and skin seeped into the Dwarf’s body and made their form lithe, yet muscular, feminine, yet masculine, beautiful, yet horrifying. Its alien allure accentuating the curves and sharpening the angles on the body. Their abject horror and strange fascination only stayed the crowd for but a moment, before screams rung out and panic ensued. The Bloody Grail is an otherworldly patron that inhabits and embodies desire, hunger, birth, blood, seduction, and thirst. This patron may take the form of an ascended vampire, or perhaps a greater, unknown being that has manifested from the collective unconscious desire of attraction and thirst from all aspects of society. Either way, the Bloody Grail is characterized by alien charisma and inhuman desirability through all the carnal pleasures. Those who have made a pact with the Bloody Grail often find themselves delving deep within the vices, keen to find enlightenment and enhanced forms of feeling only given by the Bloody Grail. ### Expanded Spell List The Bloody Grail lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you. ##### BLOODY GRAIL EXPANDED SPELLS | Spell Level | Spells | |:---:|:-----------:| | 1st | Cure wounds, false life | | 2nd | Alter self, enhance ability | | 3rd | Aura of vitality, life transference | | 4th | Aura of life, death ward | | 5th | Mass cure wounds, reincarnate | ### Teeth of the Bloodied Grail Beginning at 1st level the insatiable hunger and desire of your patron has extended to you. You can use your Charisma as opposed to your Strength when making unarmed strikes, which deal 1d4 slashing or piercing damage on hit as they manifest as sharp fangs, teeth, or claws. If you target a creature with less than half of its total hit points with an unarmed strike, you have advantage on your attack roll. At 5th level the damage becomes 2d4, at 11th it becomes a 3d4, and at 17th it becomes 4d4. \columnbreak
### The Succulent Thirst Beginning at 1st level you have been gifted a new perspective and now can experience the voluptuous boons of flesh being torn and of blood exposed. As a reaction whenever a creature within 5 feet of you deals damage to you with an attack, you can immediately make an unarmed strike against the creature. If you hit, you gain temporary hit points equal to half your warlock level (rounded down). You can use this feature an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all expended uses once you finish a long rest.

If you spend a minute consuming the flesh of a creature who has died within the last minute, it magically nourishes you, where you regain hit points equal to your warlock level plus your Charisma modifier, as well as an expended warlock spell slot. Once you have used this feature you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest as your patron's desire and hunger is sated through you. ### Crimson Sacrament Beginning at 10th level, as an action, you can magically coat yourself in delightful and megalesian blood which gives your body an otherworldly charm and unearthly attraction. While you are in this state, magical blood seeps into your skin, your body shimmers and contorts to be strangely and oddly attractive to all creatures, and you gain the following benefits for 10 minutes; - You have advantage on Charisma checks - Creatures you target with a spell or an ability that would impart the Charmed condition have disadvantage on their initial saving throw. - If you take an action that would end the charmed condition against a creature you have charmed, like attacking them or targeting them with a harmful spell, the creature instead makes their initial saving throw again as they are bewildered by your being, only losing the charmed condition upon success as opposed to the condition automatically ending. A charmed creature can only be affected by this feature once during the entire duration of their charmed condition. Once you have used this feature you cannot use it again until you complete a long rest or feast on the flesh of another creature with your Delightful Feasts feature, thusly draping yourself in their araminthine blood. ### Red Grail’s Rebirth Beginning at 14th level you’ve seen and experienced the ways of desire, pleasure, blood, hunger, and now, rebirth. When you are reduced to zero hit points, you can instead regain hit points equal to three times your Warlock level and immediately be coated in your Crimson Sacrament. Doing so also magically reduces your age by 1d10 months. Once you have used this feature you cannot use it again until you complete a long rest. \columnbreak ### Changelog - Version 1.1 - Minor grammatical fixes - Changed Red Grail's Rebirth to no longer roll hit dice or recharge on 1d4 long rests. - Version 1.0 - Initial release ### More!
