# Barbarian: Path of Magic Erasure Mages fall to your might, as your strength can take hold of the weave the puny casters manipulate. Your rage allows magic hurled your way to diminish. A wizard casts fireball; they have not the strength to wield a blade. ## Magic Awareness When you choose this path at 3rd level, as an action, you can open your awareness to the presence of concentrated magic. Until the end of your next turn, you know the location of any spell or magic item within 60 feet of you that isn’t behind total cover. When you sense a spell, you learn which school of magic it belongs to. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. ## Spell Refusal Additionally, as part of this path you gain a new resilience to magic when raging. During your rage, you can add half your proficiency bonus, rounded down, to saving throws against spells and other magical effects that don't already include your proficiency bonus. Additionally, you may cast Absorb Elements a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier, while raging. When you cast Absorb Elements in this way, you do not consume your reaction nor require spell components. ## Magician Analysis Beginning at 6th level, your anti-mage experience allows you to analyze spell casters. If you spend at least 1 minute observing or interacting with another creature outside of combat, you can determine how many spell slots and the highest level spell slot the creature has. Or as an action during combat, you may make a Wisdom (Insight) check against a creature you can see that isn't incapacitated, contested by the target's Charisma (Deception) check. ## Erasure You may stop the casting of a spell targeting you or an ally creature within 30 feet of you as a reaction beginning at 10th level. The spell must be of a level equal to or below your proficiency bonus, and you can only do so once per short or long rest. The targeted creature of Erasure takes psychic damage equal to your rage damage bonus. > Art Credit: geeshin & StuHarrington ## Antimagic Starting at 14th level, your magic erasure reaches its acme. You may cast Antimagic Field once per long rest ignoring material components and concentration. If you are raging when you cast Antimagic Field, you may cast it as a bonus action. This bonus action can be the same one used when you begin your rage. However, when cast using this feature, Antimagic Field only lasts one minute.
