Paladin Oath

Oath of Seeking

What lies over the next hill? For some an idle musing, others will look and be satisfied, a select few will only have their wonder grow, striding further and further afield.

Paladins are known for upholding lofty ideals, unwavering in their faith they enact their beliefs to bring about change, but those who swear the Oath of Seeking tread a different path. Devoted to discovery and growth, a paladin of this oath will strive to see all sides of a situation before applying a code of ethics. They aim to understand the world as much as themselves, changing both for the better. These wandering knights care more about the journey than the destination, adapting around their oath for any scenario.

Tenets of Seeking

  • Seek Passion. Find what excites you, do not let your heart stagnate in the past. New challenges and triumphs await.
  • Seek Reflection. One is unable to change the world if they are unable to change themself. Always seek to improve, little by little.
  • Seek Truth. Deception and false motives are everywhere, stay alert and find what is real.
  • Seek Hope. Hold onto the faintest flicker of hope, never let it die, no matter what.
