## College of Movement The College of Movement is home to bards that have forsaken the traditional story-telling or song for the art of expression through movement. Many of the realms most famous dancers, acrobats, jugglers, and mimes practice this path to enthrall their audience. While many heroic bards are soft spoken and quick to action to help those around them, more villainous bards of this college are known to crave drama and the spotlight, even at the expense of everyone else. ##### College of Movement Features | Bard Level | Feature | | ------------- |:-------------:| |3rd | Louder Than Words |3rd | Nimble Defense |3rd | Advanced Steps |6th | Extra Attack |14th | Ethereal Partner ### Louder Than Words You express your art and magic through the movement of your body, without a need for words or instruments. As long as you are not restrained or grappled, you no longer need to use a bardic focus or verbal components to cast bard spells, replacing them with only somatic ones. You still require material components that cost gold. ### Nimble Defense Your graceful movement across the battlefield makes it hard to pin you down. While you are wearing no armor and not wielding a shield, your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier. \columnbreak ### Advanced Steps When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can use your bonus action and expend a use of your bardic inspiration to perform a Twirling Strike. When you chose to do this Twirling Strike, make a melee spell attack against an enemy within 5 feet of you. On a hit, this attack's damage equals one roll of your bardic inspiration die + your charisma modifier bludgeoning damage. Additionally, when you make this attack, you can perform one of the following abilties: ##### Two-Step With a quick spin, you invite an friend to join you in dance. You may switch places with a willing creature within 15 ft without provoking opportunity attacks. ##### Leaping Step You gather your energy and jump, floating above the fray. You may fly up to 15ft, and you must land before the end of your turn. This does not count as part of your move action. ##### Rush Step An enemy gets swept up in your performance. You may push the target of your Twirling Strike 10 ft away from you. You may only push a creature of up to one size larger than you. ### Extra Attack You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. You may cast one of your cantrips in place of one of those attacks. You can now choose to expend a spell slot to activate your Advanced Steps instead of expending a use of your bardic inspiration. ### Ethereal Partner You have reached the pinnacle of your art of movement and battle, that the world itself wants to join in your performance. As an action you can summon your Ethereal Partner, which lasts for 1 minute. While you are dancing with your Partner, once per turn you can use your Partner to flank an enemy within 5 ft of you until the start of your next turn. In addition, your Advanced Steps gain the following benefits: - Twirling Strike damage is equal to two of your bardic inspiration dice + your charisma modifier - Two-Step can now switch the places of any two creatures within 15 ft of each other - Leaping step now grants 30 ft of flying speed - Rush Step can now push up to two creatures within melee range 10 ft away from you You can only summon your Partner once per long rest, or until you take a level of exhaustion to activate it again.
