Myrmidon

Glory, revenge, a means to an end; there are many reasons why one might seek prowess in battle. To a Myrmidon, however, prowess is not enough. These fierce warriors are known to be ruthless in their pursuit of perfection, always looking for any excuse to prove themselves and hone their skills.

  • Your Armor Class equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Wisdom modifier.
  • You can use the parry & riposte Exploit at will, using your Wisdom modifier instead of expending an Exploit Die.
  • When you make a Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check, you gain a bonus equal to your Wisdom modifier.

At 18th level, you can forgo these two attacks to use the whirlwind strike Exploit without expending an Exploit Die instead.

Laserllama's Alternate Fighter

This Archetype was designed for Laserllama's Alternate Fighter, as a martial equivalent to the Kensei/Wuxia Monk.

What is a Myrmidon?

In Greek mythology, the Myrmidons were fierce warriors led by Achilles during the Trojan War. The word has since evolved to mean someone with unscrupulous devotion to a person or cause.

When making a Myrmidon, consider your motivation for martial perfection. However, remember that your devotion is not bound by tenets or oaths; victory always comes first.
