Path of the Deathless
With glowing crimson veins, supernatural vitality, and ancient vampiric sigils scribed deep into their skin, Deathless barbarians are those who have a primal rage that defies that of death itself. Created or gifted by ancient and powerful vampires, a deathless barbarian’s physiology is so augmented and resistant to death, that they have practically grown inoculated to it. These barbarians are often extremely reckless and their process of becoming deathless is often heralded by a harrowing and traumatic process that unlocked their deathless nature.
Essence of the Undying
Beginning at 3rd level, you’re undying and immortal nature becomes activated whenever you rage, allowing you to take heavier blows but scarring your connection to the weave and your traditional physiology. Whenever you enter your rage you gain temporary hit points equal to your barbarian level plus your Constitution modifier that last until your rage ends. Furthermore, while you are raging, as a bonus action you can gain temporary hit points. To determine the number of temporary hit points, roll a number of d6s equal to your rage damage bonus, and add them together.
While you have these temporary hit points, you cannot regain hit points unless it is from the Immortal Flesh feature you gain at 10th level.
Ageless Nature
Beginning at 6th level, your deathless nature now more easily flows through your body at all times, not just when you call upon your primal rage. You age three times slower than you normally would, you do not require sleep, food, or drink, and you can gain the benefits of a long rest with 6 hours of light activity. Additionally, whenever you regain hit dice from taking a long rest or expend hit dice, you gain 2 temporary hit points per hit dice expended/recovered. These temporary hit points are additive with Essence of the Undying.
Immortal Flesh
Beginning at 10th level, although your deathless nature scars you from normal healing and your connection to the weave, it has evolved to naturally stitch and heal itself in moments of danger. Whenever you take damage while raging and you have less than half of your total hit points, you regain hit points equal to your 1 + your proficiency bonus. You can only use this feature once per turn.
Avatar of the Deathless
Beginning at 14th level, your deathless nature has grown to encompass the entirety of your being, and mortal wounds hardly pose a threat to you. You no longer age, you have advantage on death saving throws and on your Constitution saving throws when using your relentless rage feature. Additionally, when you succeed on your saving throw from your relentless rage feature, you can immediately roll hit dice equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain hit points equal to the total sum of the rolls plus your Barbarian level. When you regain hit points in this way, you can regenerate any missing limbs.
