Appearance

Devas are proud angelic beings, towering from 6 up to 7 feet in height.

Their skin is pale and their eyes have an unnatural glint to them. Their hair color varies, but in most cases it is either a darker or lighter shade of grey.

Many of them are able to conceal their wings to appear more human-like and remain unnoticed by the unpercieving mortal eyes.

Traits

  • Ability score increase. When determining your character's ability scores, increase one score by 2 and increase a different score by 1, or increase three different scores by 1. You can't raise any of your scores above 20.

  • Creature type. You are a Humanoid.

  • Size. Your size is Medium.

  • Speed. Your walking speed is 30 feet.

  • Darkvision. Thanks to your celestial heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

  • Angelic Resiatance. You have resistance to radiant and necrotic damage.

  • Winged. You have bird-like wings sprouting from your back. You have flying speed of 30 feet while you aren't wearing heavy armor.

  • Languages. Your character can speak, read, and write Common and Celestial.

Linneage

  • Astral. Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the Bless spell with this trait. Once you cast the spell with this trait, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have of 1st level or higher. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this trait.

  • Monadic. Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the Wrathful Smite spell with this trait. Once you cast the spell with this trait, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have of 1st level or higher. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for this trait.

  • Movanic. Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the Charm Person spell with this trait. Once you cast the spell with this trait, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have of 1st level or higher. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for this trait.
