Sunlight Drow
Drows who spend significant time living under the sun can often learn to adapt to its blinding brightness. These drows no longer suffer sensitivity to sunlight at the cost of losing their superior darkvision.
Ability Scores. Choose one of: (a) Choose any +2; choose any other +1 (b) Choose three different +1
Age. Although elves reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, the elven understanding of adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience. An elf typically claims adulthood and an adult name around the age of 100 and can live to be 750 years old.
Size. Drow range varied in height from 4 feet and 7 inches to 5 feet and 5 inches (140 to 170 centimeters), averaging at 5 feet (150 centimeters). Your size is Medium.
Keen Senses. You have proficiency in the Perception skill.
Fey Ancestry. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep.
Trance. Elves don't need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is "trance.") While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
If you meditate during a long rest, you finish the rest after only 4 hours. You otherwise obey all the rules for a long rest; only the duration is changed.
Sunlight Adapted. Due to the years spent on the surface you no longer suffer from Sunlight Sensitivity.
Darkvision. As you adapt to sunlight, your vision in the dark is not as good as that of other drows. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Drow Magic. You know the dancing lights cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the faerie fire spell once with this trait; you regain the ability to cast it when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can also cast the darkness spell once per day with this trait; you regain the ability to cast it when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Because of the time spent on the surface, the sunlight weakened your innate magic. you can no longer access the feat Drow High Magic.
Drow Weapon Training. You have proficiency with rapiers, shortswords, and hand crossbows.
Drow Sign language. The Sign language was also commonly known among drow. It could convey information as well as any spoken language within range of 30 feet and had no written form.
if your DM allows it you could try to teach sign language to a creature with a minimum intelligence score of 13.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Deep Drow and Undercommon. The everyday language of the drow was commonly called "Deep Drow", as well as "Low Drow" or "Drowic". It was an elven dialect similar in structure to Common and Undercommon, with a lot of borrowed words from other languages like the orcish, dwarven, and human tongues.
