# Race: Mizutsune ## Mizutsune Traits ### Age Mizutsune mature at the same rate as humans but live to about 90 years. ### Size Mizutsune are typically Medium, but due to their adaptability and growth, they can reach Large size. ### Speed Your base walking speed is 30 feet. ### Keen Senses You have proficiency in the Perception skill. ### Aquatic Adaptability When in or near water, your Bubble Blast deals an additional 1d4 damage, and your speed increases to 40 feet. Additionally, you can hold your breath underwater for up to 10 minutes. ### Claws Your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier. ### Daunting Roar As a bonus action, you can let out an especially menacing roar. Creatures of your choice within 10 feet of you that can hear you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of you until the end of your next turn. The DC of the save equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest. ### Tail Slam As an action or bonus action, you can sweep or slam your tail at a creature within 15 feet of you. The creature must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier). On a failed save, the creature takes 1d8 bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone. You can use this as a bonus action only once per long rest. ### Bubble Blast As an action, you can exhale a wave of bubbles in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier). On a failed save, a creature takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage and is afflicted with Bubbleblight. Bubbleblight reduces speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. At 3rd level, you can use Bubble Blast to heal creatures in the cone, healing them for 1d6 + your Wisdom or Constitution modifier. At 5th level, creatures in the cone gain a bonus to their next attack roll equal to 1d4 + your Constitution modifier. You can use Bubble Blast a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
