Necrotic Soul: Sorcerer Origin

A sorcer who gets their power from the death around them. From a young age these sorcers have always felt a conection to the dead and communicating with them. These sorcers are often born froma mortal and a half lich, giving them the ability to walk the line between life and death.

Necrotic Spells

Your necrotic connection allows you to use dark magic with ease. You gain the additional spels listed below at the levels listed. These spells do not count against the spells you know.

Sorcerer Level Spells
1st Toll the Dead (cantrip), Inflict Wounds
3rd Ray of Enfeeblement, Gentle Repose
5th Vampiric Touch, Animate dead
7th Spirit of Death, Blight
9th Raise Dead, Danse Macrabe

(Optional) Walk the line

As you gain this connection to the dead when you drop to zero hit points, if your character is not ready for death, you go to a plane unknown to you, where you feel at home and like you have control. You would know this place as the line between life and death, which you can traverse unlike most. From this plane, after 1d10 minutes you come back to life in your body. If your body is gone, you can choose a unoccupied spance within 60ft of someone you know to come back too. you can use this ability once per short or long rest.

Whispers of the Grave

Starting at 1st level, you can use your connection to the dead to speak with those who have passed. You may spend 3 sorcery to cast speak with the dead with no material components.

Deathly Companion

Starting at 6th you can bring someones soul back to your plane and you can see them and can make them visible to everyone if you are not incappacitated. this person follows the rules of create undead but will not go away after 24 hours. This person will stay with you for aslong as wanted.

You can only have one person summoned at a time and it takes a minute to use. :

Pinnacle of immortality

At 6th level, You stop aging, and you no longer need to breathe, sleep, eat or drink to survive. You still need to long rest doing light activity (like reading, keeping watch...) to restore hit dice, and recover Exhaustion level.

Master of Souls

At 14th level you gain resistance to nectrotic damage and your hit point maxium cannot be reduced. Also, you add the Create Undead spell to your spell list and it count as sorcerer spell for you, and is not included in the number of Spells Known column of the sorcerer table. :

Aura of Hate

Starting at 14th level you admit a dark aura for undead. Any undead that you choose within 20 feet of you heal for 1d4 + your charisma modifier on the start of each of their turns and your turns

Superior Necromancy

At 18th level, Whenever you use sorcery points to cast or use metamagic on a necromancy spell, the point cost is reduced by one.
