Revenant
Warriors killed in battle, or unjustly... being raised again only with the sole desire to finish what they died for... Perhaps an exhibition of a necromantic force still undiscovered? or brought by a necromancer for an as yet unknown task? The only thing that is certain is that they will not hesitate to destroy those who stand in their way.
Undead Nature
3rd-level Revenant feature
Undeath changes your nature, making you a different being than you used to be. You gain the following benefits and changes:
- Your creature type changes to Undead
- You don't need to eat, drink, or breathe.
- You are immune to disease.
- You are immune to poison damage and the poisoned condition.
Additionally, you to benefit from several spells that normally don't affect Undead.
Undeath Warlord
3rd-level Revenant feature
You have spell slots, although you do not have spellcasting abilities, these spell slots can be used in the following ways:
- As an action, you can expend a spell slot to regain hit points equal to 1d6 + your constitution modifier. Additionally you can expend a hit die to regain additional hit points.
- As a bonus action, you can expend a spell slot to turn your body into a dark mist by moving a number of feet equal to ten times the expended spell level.
- When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can expend a spell slot to drop a number of hit points equal to 5 times the expended slot level.
- When a creature you can see is reduced to 0 hit points, you can expend a spell slot to use your reaction to make the creature immediately move up to its speed and make a weapon attack.
Undeath Pact
7th-level Revenant feature
When you use Second Wind you can decide not to heal yourself, but instead roll 1d10 + your fighter level, until the start of your next turn each damage you deal goes into a temporary pool known as Pact Points taking the result of this says roll as the Goal.
When your Pact Points exceed the Goal they return to 0 and if there are any points left, they continue to be added to this new pool. At the beginning of your next turn you recover a number of expended spell slots equal to the number of times you have reached the Goal, the level of these spell slots is chosen by you.
If you miss the Goal even once, you take necrotic damage equal to the Goal, this damage cannot be reduced in any way.
You cannot use this ability again if you expend Second Wind to heal yourself, or if you fail to reach the Goal.
Final Bonebreaker
10th-level Revenant feature
When you are reduced to 0 hit points, you can make one attack before falling unconscious, if the attack roll hits it is automatically a critical hit.
Continuous Pact
15th-level Revenant feature
You demonstrate loyalty to your master, gaining his favor more often. You can now use Undeath Pact even if you fail to reach the Goal.
Immortal Spirit
18th-level Revenant feature
When you die or are killed by a creature. You possess the body of a creature of your choice that is familiar to you and that voluntarily allows it, otherwise by making a DC 20 charisma saving throw, on a failure it will be possessed by your spirit.
Upon finishing a long rest in this body, you regain all the abilities you had in the previous body that was killed and the soul of the possessed creature is trapped by you.
