The power of the stars surges through your body as you were touched by their cosmic powers. It has imbued you with the power of the cosmos.

Astral Spells

1st level Astral Soul feature
Starting at 1st level, you learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but doesn't count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be an abjuration or divination spell from the sorcerer, wizard or cleric spell list.

Astral Warp

1st level Astral Soul feature
As an action you can create a temporary tear between the planes allowing you to teleport two creatures you can see within 60 feet of you to an unoccupied space within 30 feet of them. Immediately after being teleported you can enable one creature to use its reaction to make one weapon attack against a hostile creature within range. An unwilling target must make a Charisma saving throw equal to your spell save DC or be teleported on a failed save.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Starlit Motes

6th level Astral Soul feature
Whenever you use Metamagic on a spell or expend sorcery points on sorcerer feature, you gain a mote of starlight that orbits around your head for 10 minutes, or until you expend it. This mote of starlight sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet. You can have a number of these motes orbiting around you equal to your Charisma modifier. Each of these motes is represented by a d8. While you have a mote you may use your reaction when a creature within 60 feet of you rolls an attack roll, or a saving throw. You roll your d8, and add or subtract the result from the total of the roll. You can choose to use this feature after the creature makes its roll, but before the DM determines whether the attack roll, or saving throw succeeds or fails.

Starlight Bond

14th level Astral Soul feature
While you have your Starlit Motes active you gain resistance to radiant damage. Additionally, when you gain a mote of starlight you may designate the mote to a creature you can see within 60 feet of you. While the target holds the mote of starlight they may use their reaction to activate the mote as you would, and while a creature with a mote is within 30 feet of another, the creature can use their bonus action to teleport to an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the other.

Field of Stars

18th level Astral Soul feature
Swirling motes of starlight, nebulae, and galaxies coalesce around you. As an action, you manifest a field of starlight in a 30 foot sphere centered on you that moves with you for 1 minute. When you first manifest the field you can select any number of creatures within its radius to gain a mote of starlight, these motes don't count towards the maximum of motes you can have available to you. And you gain the following benefits:

  • You can use a bonus action to use your Astral Warp feature. Additionally, you may now target three creature, and when a creature uses its reaction to make an attack after being teleported they make the attack with advantage
  • When a hostile creature enters the field for the first time on a turn, or starts its turn there, they must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, the creature is blinded until the end of their next turn. On a success, the creature is immune to this effect of the field for 24 hours.

Once you use this action, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 7 sorcery points to use it again.
