# Toad King ## When powerful magic places a curse over a location, it can sometimes manifest in the emergence of a Toad King. These corpulent monsters actively foul the area around them, causing the terrain to devolve into a stinking mud pit, sometimes with a series of wet muddy caves underneath. The only bright side to the emergence of a Toad King, is if you can kill it, it frequently breaks, or at least diminishes, the curse that caused it in the first place.

If the attack hits the creature is swallowed. It takes 3d6 Acid damage at the end of the Toad King's turn, and is blind and restrained. > > ***Slime Spew*** The toad king spits a gout of viscous sticky slime in a 20 foot line. Creatures caught in the stream must make a Dexterity Saving Throw DC 13 or be restrained until the end of their next turn. > > > > ### Legendary Actions > >The Toad King can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The Toad King regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn. > > ***Disappear into Mud*** - The Toad King seems to dissolve into the mud reappearing at another location in its lair within 60 feet. This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity. > > ***Slime Spew*** - The Toad King makes a Slime Spew action. > > ***Excrete Toxin*** - The Toad King excretes a foul smelling toxin from its skin. Adjacent creatures must make a DC 13 Constitution Save or become Poisoned until the end of their next turn.
