Tome of Devouring Socials & Ko-Fi
](#That's-All-For-Now!-Or-is-it?)
\pagebreak ## Gobblin' Goblins This voracious supplement, much like the Tome of Devouring, is designed to implement rules into 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons that allow player characters and Non-Player Characters (also known as NPCs) alike to attempt to devour and potentially digest one another, as well as try to avoid such fates. Featuring a series of voracious creatures and guest characters, Dungeon Masters will be well equipped to eat (And be eaten by) their players. An important note to Dungeon Masters is that this supplement is decidedly a bit harder than the Tome of Devouring's "Casual" approach. Don't expect players not to struggle (and potentially get eaten) by the updated the abilities and original monsters found within this supplement. While there hopefully shouldn't be any mechanical problems, don't get upset when your players gulp down or get gulped down your final boss instead of fighting them blade to blade.
#### Why the seperate book? Couldn't fit it all in a one-page table of contents appropriate for a PDF-style layout. Also so it is hopefully easier to find the specific thing you're looking for! #### NSFW Warning (18+) Yes, this is a fetish-fueled potentially pornographic add-on to your vore games. As such, don't use this shit around fucking minors or otherwise SFW environments. Discuss consent as a group and ensure all parties are fine with the use of this content before actually using it as a player or Dungeon Master. We are not responsible for your failure to use common fucking sense and to not be a creep. #### Why Ko-Fi? Art ain't cheap, and time isn't infinite. The Tome of Devouring crew understandably wants to provide quality work from quality artists. Every art piece in this document is STRICTLY used with expressed permission from artists, and is strictly commissioned by one or more member(s) of our team. Therefore your contributions allow us to ensure a level of professional quality above that of most other homebrew Dungeons & Dragons contents. Without you, this document would be quite bare and empty. \pagebreakNum # Optional Add-Ons ##### General NPC Improvement Options All creatures have something that makes them unique. But some don't stand out still. Feel free to throw any of the features from this section onto your NPCs to spice them up some!
* **Appetite:** A creature with this trait has the ability, and perhaps desire, to eat others. The creature is considered proficient in Athletics if they aren't already. The creature may make devour contests as a player character could too. Creatures with this trait are likely able to identify which creatures are possible to eat easily and may take this opportunity. The creature deals acid digestion damage in the form of 1d4 plus their constitution modifier.
* **Glutton:** A creature with this trait has dedicated their lifestyle to the consumption of others. This creature's ability check to devour others becomes a +10 if it was not already. This creature's digestion damage is equal to 1d6 plus their constitution modifier in the form of acid damage.
* **Sublte:** A creature with this trait is either incapable of eating others, or simply unlikely to. In return they gain advantage on checks and saving throws to avoid being eaten instead. These creatures also gain stealth and perception proficiency to help avoid predators.
* **Willing:** A creature with this trait is a complete gutslut. Their health is doubled, but they cannot and will not resist any attempt to eat them.
##### Digestion Damage Calculations Not all creatures have a special digestion trait or ability applied. All creatures deal digestion damage based off of their CR or "Challenge Rating" unless specified otherwise in their stat block.
##### Digestion Damage | CR | Damage | |:----:|:-------------| | 0-2 | 1d4 | | 3-5 | 2d4 | | 6-8 | 3d4 | | 9-11 | 3d6 | | 12-16 | 3d8 | | 17-20 | 3d10 | | 20+ | 4d10 | The damage type should be determined by the DM as appropriate, but typically defaults to Acid damage. Certain creatures may have specified damage types, or abilities and actions that allow them to deal a damage type different than what is listed in the table on this page. Digestion damage for a non-player creature is dealt with an action *or* bonus action, but cannot be done more than once per turn unless specified otherwise by their statblock, a spell, or used items. \pagebreakNum ##### Aboleths
Before the hunger of man, or the hunger of god, was the hunger of those beyond. The Aboleth may not seem a beast of voracious tendencies, but even those alien to our worlds show hunger in their own way from time to time.
\pagebreakNum ##### Acolyte
Those who study religion may often find themes of food, feast, and pleasure amongst the promises of the afterlife. Some deem it necessary to partake in such to be admit to their respective afterlife. Those who worship deities with teachings of charity, humility, or feast may be Acolytes of Prey themselves. Those who worship deities of envy, greed, or feast may alternatively become Acolytes of Predatory nature.
An Acolyte of Predatory practices is typically more rare than one of Prey, but that is not to say some churches may not primarily host one over the other, or even both in some instances. On average only one out of every ten Acolytes is either type.
\pagebreakNum ##### Androsphynx
The Sphinx, these monsters are known across mythos as beings of intellect and knowledge. In truth it is merely a more healthy expression of their gluttony above all else. A sphinx relishes the opportunity to devour creatures, but their kind are often irritated by meals who resist them and will attempt to charm or trick their meals into obedient consumption. But when all else fails, they have the power to keep most people down for good.
\pagebreakNum ##### Animated Armor
A normal wizard enchants a suit of armor to deal with intruders...but some weirdos make them eat people which is a thing now I guess!
\pagebreakNum ##### Ankheg
Bugs were bad enough, but now you're saying some of them can eat people!? Noooo thank you!
\pagebreakNum ##### Apex Dragon
The Dragon, a mythological destroyer of lands and sovreign of history and power. Their power and beauty are matched by very little, if anything. Their appetite can sometimes be equally without equal. At least, that is what Darya suggested I write as to not offend one.
***Through the vast variations of this being, it is impossible to realistically include all of the many dragon variants with their own unique page, bio, and stat block. It would also include a lot of repetition. So instead we have made this optional "add-on" block. To make a Dragon an Apex Dragon, simply take the already existing adult or ancient dragon and add the abilities and stats of this block to them.***
___ > ## Apex Dragon >*Huge or Gargantuan Dragon, Any Alignment* > ___ > - **Armor Class** +2 > - **Hit Points** +20 > - **Speed** +10 ft., fly +10 ft. >___ > - **Damage Resistances** Digestion > ___ > > ### Actions > > ***Devour.*** The dragon can make a devour attempt on a creature two sizes smaller than itself or smaller. This devour attempt does not require a grapple prior. Rather than rolling a contest, the target creature must make a Strength or Dexterity saving throw. The target chooses which saving throw to make. On a successful save, the attempt fails. On a failed save, the dragon marks 3 successes against the target creature. The dragon cannot use this action if they have made an attack, used Frightful Presence, or their breath attack on this turn. Upon using this action the dragon cannot make any further actions or bonus actions until their next turn, but they may still freely use legendary actions and reactions as applicable. The DC's number for this action is the same as the dragon's breath attack.
> ***Alternative Digestion.*** The dragon can choose to expend a use of its breath attack to instead deal this damage internally to all creatures inside of itself. The save for this ability is changed to Constitution if it was not already, the same DC as their breath attack is used.
\pagebreakNum ##### Archmage of Voracious Studies
Very few Archmage of Voracious Studies exist at any time. I sometimes wonder if it is because they keep eating eachother or if it purely the level of power needed to become one.
\pagebreakNum ##### Azer
These hotheaded jerks leave a gut groaning for hours after ingesting, and burn the whole time too! Experts agree eating an Azer is the second worst experience of all time, right under being eaten by one! Do not recommend! Even Darya, who likes spicy food, tends to stick away from these guys!
\pagebreakNum ##### Bandit
A bandit a day keeps the tax collecters at bay! That being said, it is usually because they **eat** the tax collecters, which might be illegal actually. I'm not sure if they're the good guys or not, but they sure taste good enough for me!
\pagebreakNum ##### Basilisk
There is very little more frightening than exploring ruins, a cave, or any other seemingly lifeless place to find the beady eyes of a Basilisk meeting your gaze. These predators are merciless, when you're being petrified your last moments are often thinking on if you'll be an unlucky warning to a future party of adventurers, or feeding fodder for the beast's diet.
\pagebreakNum ##### Behir
Natural predators, the Behir is often an adventurer's nightmare encounter. It is often rumoured that the stomach of these beasts contain treasures. Very little live long enough to confirm or deny these tales.
\pagebreakNum ##### Beserker
I don't have much to say on these goons. They smack hard and eat harder. Wait that doesn't sound right. Well you know what I meant! Right?
It is quite rare to find a pack of Voracious Berserkers outside of isolated places like mountaintops, but on occasion they can be found and hired to eat, or otherwise damage, locations or people.
\pagebreakNum ##### Bulette
Darya has annoyingly reminded me that the favored meal of the Bulette species are halflings. If that didn't make matters worse, there are some Bulette, such as the one recorded in this tome that can devour multiple creatures as once! If we ever encounter one of these, I'm hiding behind Darya and hoping for the best.
\pagebreakNum ##### Carnivorous Dryad
I know I said I liked flowers, but I really was not anticipating Darya bringing one of these to the local inn to ask me to dinner. I did however expect it to try to eat us after. Points for effort though.
\pagebreakNum ##### Centaur
Two stomachs, twice as friendly! I think that is the saying I heard once. That or twice the danger? Regardless, most Centaurs are known to be friendly nomads or territorial competition eaters. It is pretty hard to tell which one a centaur is until it is too late too!
\pagebreakNum ##### Chimera
Monsters of a new level, Chimera are a recipe for disaster when you're fighting them. Especially packs of them! But I do know a good recipe for Chimera egg omelette, and Chimera meat buns, and Chimera milk cheese.
\pagebreakNum ##### Clay Golem
I still don't fully understand why people make these things try eating people. They're so sticky too! I do **not** recommend eating one either, the taste is awful and they're pretty much impossible to digest normally!
\pagebreakNum ##### Cloaker
These sneaky bastards are evil I tell you! Never going to a cloak store knowing these things could be in there! Are cloak stores a thing though? Maybe that is a different concern altogether.
\pagebreakNum ##### Cloud Giant
Fee Fi Fo Fum
don't end up in a Cloud Giant Gut
Willing or not, it doesn't go well
Churn you to the bone
and add to their butt
\pagebreakNum ##### Couatl
Often caretakers to temples and abandoned sites of divine purpose, Couatl aren't exactly known for devouring people. But I will have you know they have some of the most surprisingly comfortable stomachs in the material plane! Not that I recommend staying for long at all, and not that I have any experience in a Couatl's stomach either! Just don't steal or do anything to anger the Couatl or the deity they serve and you should be fine!
\pagebreakNum ##### Crocodile
Do I really need to explain to you what a Crocodile is? It's a big swimmy lizard who goes chomp chomp. Try not to get bit by one.
\pagebreakNum ##### Cultist Sacrifice
Similar to an Acolyte of voracious intentions, a Cultist Sacrifice often begins as one with a strong faith in a divine purpose. Cultist Sacrifices of course tend to take a more devious route. They **are** pretty hot to watch go down though.
\pagebreakNum ##### Driders & Drow
Driders and Drow are a combination one can compare to peanut butter and jelly. If peanute butter and jelly was the name of two poisons of course. Though the lore and specifics of drow can vary from interpretration to interpretation, our's loosely follows an idea of the general Forgotten Realm's take *(that's basically the Baldur's Gate 3 style for those who don't speak nerd like us in the writing team)*. Drow are occassionally called by their main goddess Lolth for a trial to prove they are worthy. Those who fail are turned into a Drider. Many debate if this is a form of punishment and curse or a blessing and reward for their efforts. Though it is generally accepted that becoming a drider is a curse, it doesn't come without a fair share of benefits such as the ability to climb difficult surfaces. The voracious variety shared within these texts follow a similar ideology, with the stipulation that the "Drider Web Matron" are Drow who were rewarded with a variation of drider-blessing. These driders outrank any other drider, and may even outrank some drow depending on the specific Drow society's standards. \pagebreakNum ##### Drider Web Matron
The curse of the drider turned blessing by Lolth to those she deem worthy, still seems like a curse to me to get turned into a big spider lady, they don't even have cute butts anymore! Not that I am looking at drow women's butts or anything, just an observation!
\pagebreakNum ##### Drow Gutmonger
Masters of gluttony, the Gutmongerer is a special rank of Drow typically viewed with the same reverence as a master assassin, albeit with the ability to take their targets back alive if necessary. This is one of the few voracious ranks in Drow society, and one of the few Drow ranks in general that allow male members and treat them with relatively equal respect as their female counterparts. That being said, this position is typically occupied moreso by those of feminine appearance.
\pagebreakNum ##### Drow Huntress
Sometimes mistaken for the Gutmonger, the Drow Huntress are a female-only position amongst the voracious ranks in Drow society. Ironically a lower-rank to the Gutmonger, a team of Voracious Drow would typically consist of several Huntress being lead by one or two Gutmongers. Drow Huntress who do not respect their leader often attempt to devour their Gutmonger at camp to take their rank and place in leadership.
\pagebreakNum ##### Demons & Devils
Otherworldly fiends, both Demons and Devils present a visible and obvious threat to the inhabitants of the material plane, albeit with their own methods and desires. Demons are typically of chaotic evil nature, and merely desire destruction and carnage for their own self pleasure. Devils are typically of lawful evil nature, and prefer power and rule over destruction when possible. Though the methods of fighting such entities can be the same, it is always best to know a Devil can typically be reasoned with, while a Demon typically cannot. \pagebreakNum ##### Balor
The Balor. These guys are the ultimate gatekeeper and destroyer. If you see one, it is often best to just turn around and pretend you didn't. If one of these block your path I promise you there must be a better option. Especially run if they seem hungry.
\pagebreakNum ##### Chain Devil
Look, I get it. You like bondage and stuff. But c'mon..isn't this a bit excessive, and dangerous?
\pagebreakNum ##### Succubus/Incubus
P-Pretty Fiends...
Succubi and Incubi are not officially written as Demons or Devils, but can be found in the service of either. A DM may decide which they may be, or if they are their own unique type of Fiend altogether. \pagebreakNum ##### Dire Wolf
Big Wolf, Big Bite. Try not to end up food tonight. Ryhmes aside, they pack a punch, so try not to be wolf chow!
\pagebreakNum ##### Doppelganger
The first sign of trouble was that funny look she gave me, but when Darya said no to some of my salmon I should've been suspicious.
\pagebreakNum ##### Gnoll Gorger
Gnolls, nasty beings of nasty origins. But deep down they're just big ol' goofballs right? No? Well a gal can dream!
\pagebreakNum ##### Goblin Gourmand
Finally an entry I can relate to! Though most common races like the humans and elves may say otherwise, I'd wager that the cooking of a Goblin Gourmand is second only to halfling cooking! Just...try not to be the food.
\pagebreakNum ##### Hungering Hag
Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry Mommy sorry
Oh uh...don't mind me I'm just uh...studying Hags...
\pagebreakNum ##### Hungering Phantom
Ghosts..but they eat people!? Goodness, I'm glad I always keep a bottle of holy water around!
\pagebreakNum ##### Kidnapper
A bounty hunter is bad enough when they want to take you in, but doing so like this? I don't know about you but I think I might be into it.
\pagebreakNum ##### Lurking Mound
Oh great, even the plants can eat me now?!
\pagebreakNum ##### Malevolence Powerful, greedy genies from the Elemental Planes of Chaos or the Negative Energy Plane, the malevolence are attractive, effeminate, voluptuous humanoids with a variety of black, white, and gray skin tones and typically glowing eyes. They dress in typically loose fitting, lightweight clothing, designed as much for comfort as to flaunt their figure.
**Menace to Society.** A Malevolence's desire for power and feast rules their desires for social structure or interaction. It is rare to find a Malevolence in any long-lasting society or settlement, let alone multiple of the territorial entities. The cannibalistic genie often even resort to eat one another if necessary to assert dominance. Malveolence are easily some of the most powerful genie, and a perfect definition of the term power. No Malevolence exists that is not bound, as a requirement to become a Malevolence is to have the bindings of a genie infused with the energy of the Negative Energy Plane, Elemental Planes of Chaos, or the Shadowfell over time. Malevolence are known for their ruthless activity and their manipulative behavior toward mortals. Among genies, Malevolence often atempt to devour their fellow wish granters, whom they view as lesser. They openly despise mortal masters who work against their own desires, while often enjoying those that share similar goals, or are easily manipulated into following similar goals.
**Gifted yet Gluttonous.** Masters of the the arcane arts, the Malevolence always crave further power and feast, often with little care for the consequences others face. Creatures that stand against a Malevolence are usually devoured, or are faced with distractions of lust and gluttony as the Malevolence finds a method of escape or victory. When a Malevolence flies, its lower body transforms into a smoke-like wisp.
**Costly Servitors.** The Malevolence seek nothing more than their own power to increase, even at the cost of servitude to others. While sometimes obedient to an unbelievable degree, many Malevolence will just as easily betray a master or bring them to harm to further their own goals. A mortal who desires the brief service of a Malevolence can entreat it with magical items, or use lustful acts to bribe it into temporary compliance. Powerful spellcasters are able to forgo such niceties, however, if they can summon, bind into service, or imprison a Malevolence using magic. Long-term service can sometimes anger a Malevolence, and imprisonment is inexcusable. Malevolence resent anyone that has imprisoned them in bottles, iron flasks, and wind instruments throughout the ages, but are often indifferent about those who do so to other genies. Betrayal, particularly by a mortal whom a Malevolence trusted, is a vile deed that only deadly vengeance can amend. Betrayal by a Malevolence is inevitable regardless.
**Powers of Servitude.** Malevolence have a variety of magical capabilities, including spells. Most have even greater powers that allow them to alter their appearance or the nature of reality.
**Disguises.** Some genies can veil themselves in illusion to pass as other similarly shaped creatures. Malevolence can innately cast the true polymorph spell at will, often with a longer duration than is normal for that spell. Most malevolence can change only their own shape with this innate ability, but a rare few can use the spell on other creatures and objects as well.
**Wishes.** The genie power to grant wishes is legendary among mortals. Only the most potent genies, such as those among the nobility, can do so. The malevolence however are a rare exception. These mighty few can not only cast the Wish spell, but can do so virtually at will. Divine law dictates that the same genie can expend a limited count of wishes on a specific creature only once in that creature's existence, but a malevolence does not care for such rules. Those granted more than 3 wishes by a malevolence may face divine retribution from deities of justice and order should such deities be made aware of reality-changing wishes. To be granted a wish, a creature who is attuned to the malevolence's containing vessel within 60 feet of the genie states a desired effect to it. The genie can then cast the wish spell on the creature's behalf to bring about the effect. Depending on the genie's nature, the genie might try to pervert the intent of the wish by exploiting the wish's poor wording. The perversion of the wording is usually crafted to be to the genie's benefit. A malevolence however is often more than willing to let a master wish free of consequences, should the master either agree to entertain the malevolence in some personal manner, or request selfish wishes for the malevolence as well. \pagebreakNum ##### Malevolence
\pagebreakNum ##### Prime Mimic
Mimics, the ultimate "nothing is safe" monster. The main cause of adventuring paranoia, and the reason I don't like to walk around the house without socks or stockings on at night. Speaking of, whoever released one of these into my house last week, you in particular suck.
Author's Note: It was Darya. She thought it would be funny, and it was.
\pagebreakNum ##### Ravening Werewolf
Lycanthropes, always intimidating, sometimes hot. Ravening Werewolves are a particularly gluttonous variant one should always appreciate...from outside of arm's reach.
\pagebreakNum ##### Rug of Devouring
It's...a rug...of course I've never been eaten by one!
Author's Note: That's a fucking lie.
\pagebreakNum ##### Snakes
Your classic vore predator, and occassionally prey! It only makes sense we created a few snake-like creatures, but why not some snakes too? Here's some snakes for all your snake-loving needs!
\pagebreakNum ##### Rug of Devouring
The Sewn Promethian, effectively a homunculus style golem of humanoid build, and an appetite to match. Effectively just a prettier flesh golem with a more voracious desire. These things can be kinda scary in combat, but kinda hot when eating.
