Oath of the Sword Dancer
The sword dancers are the holy warriors of Eilistraee, dedicated to helping those in need and fighting evil wherever they find it. As well as spreading the sweet melody of their goddess.
Tenets of the Sword Dancer
The warrior of Eilistraee share these tenets.
- Honor. Aid the weak, strong, grateful, and churlish alike. Be always kind, save in battle with evil.
- Self-improvement. Learn how to cook game and how best to hunt it. Learn how to play, make, and repair musical instruments. Learn new songs, dances, and ways with weapons, spices, and recipes, and pass this learning on whenever possible. Practice music and swordwork.
- Promoting Joy. Encourage happiness everywhere; lift hearts with kind words, jests, songs, and merriment. Whenever possible, food should be eaten with accompaniment of song. Except for properly sad occasions, a feast should be accompanied by merriment. Promote happiness and gaiety whenever possible.
- Drow. Aid all drow who are in distress. If the drow are in combat the fighting is to be stopped with as little bloodshed as possible. So long as the drow met with are not working evil on others, they are to be aided and given the message of Eilistraee: “A rightful place awaits you in the Realm Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow.”
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
- Sword Dance. Eilistraee's song sets your spirit ablaze, allowing you to perform an elegant battledance, As a bonus action you can gain a bonus to your armor class equal to your charisma modifier (minumum of one), and Opportunity attacks made against you are made with disadvantage. The sword dance lasts one minute.
- Healing Radiance. As an action you can choose up to six creature you can see within 10 feet (you can include yourself), that creatures regain a number of hit points equal to Proficiency Bonus + Paladin Level + Charisma Modifier. In the start of your next turn, the creatures regain the same amount
Aura of Hope
Beginning at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you have advantage on wisdom, charisma and intelligence saving throws against spells and magical effects.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Spellsong
At 15th level, this sacred song allows you through song and supplication to the Dark Dancer cast any divine spell. As an action choose any cleric or paladin spell of 4th level or lower that doesn't require a Reaction to cast. As part of the same action, you cast that spell without expending a spell slot or needing material components. You then can't use this feature again until you finish a Long Rest.
Eternal Dancer
At 20th level, you can use your action to begins an powerful dance. For one minute you gain the following benefits:
- You can use Spellsong to cast any cleric spell of 7th level or lower.
- Your weapon attack and damage rolls gain a bonus equal to your charisma modifier.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a Long Rest. You can also restore your use of it by expending a 5th-level spell slot (no action required).
