Blade of the Ancients

Weapon (Greatsword), very rare (requires attunement by a Druid, Ranger, or Oath of the Ancients Paladin )


Whenever this weapon hits an object, the hit is a critical hit.

You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made using the weapon. On a hit, the weapon deals an extra 2d6 bludgeoning damage.

Nature's Touch. You learn the Druidcraft cantrip, if you know this cantrip already you learn another druid cantrip of your choice. Additionally, you can cast Earth TremorXGE a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Wrath of Nature. As an action you can unleash vines in a 20 foot radius at a point you can see within 60 feet of you. All creatures of your choice must make a Strength saving throw, taking 4d8 bludgeoning damage and become restrained by the vines on a failed save, or half as much damage and is not restrained on a successful one. A restrained creature takes 2d8 bludgeoning damage at the end of their turn, and can repeat the save at the start of their turns, breaking free from this effect on a success. Once this action is used, it can't be used again until the next dawn.

The monolithic blade, deep within the forests of the great green lords, waited for one who could wield it.
