Tome of Devouring Socials & Ko-Fi
](#That's-All-For-Now!-Or-is-it?)
\pagebreak ## Gobblin' Goblins This voracious supplement, much like the Tome of Devouring, is designed to implement rules into 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons that allow player characters and Non-Player Characters (also known as NPCs) alike to attempt to devour and potentially digest one another, as well as try to avoid such fates. Featuring a series of voracious creatures and guest characters, Dungeon Masters will be well equipped to eat (and be eaten by) their players. An important note to Dungeon Masters is that this supplement is decidedly a bit harder than the Tome of Devouring's "Casual" approach. Don't expect players not to struggle (and potentially get eaten) by the updated abilities and original monsters found within this supplement. While there hopefully shouldn't be any mechanical problems, don't get upset when your players gulp down or get gulped down your final boss instead of fighting them blade to blade.
#### Why the seperate book? Couldn't fit it all in a one-page table of contents appropriate for a PDF-style layout. Also so it is hopefully easier to find the specific thing you're looking for! #### NSFW Warning (18+) Yes, this is a fetish-fueled potentially pornographic add-on to your vore games. As such, don't use this shit around fucking minors or otherwise SFW environments. Discuss consent as a group and ensure all parties are fine with the use of this content before actually using it as a player or Dungeon Master. We are not responsible for your failure to use common fucking sense and to not be a creep. #### Why Ko-Fi? Art ain't cheap, and time isn't infinite. The Tome of Devouring crew understandably wants to provide quality work from quality artists. Every art piece in this document is STRICTLY used with expressed permission from artists, and is strictly commissioned by one or more member(s) of our team. Therefore your contributions allow us to ensure a level of professional quality above that of most other homebrew Dungeons & Dragons contents. Without you, this document would be quite bare and empty. \pagebreakNum # Optional Add-Ons ##### General NPC Improvement Options All creatures have something that makes them unique. But some don't stand out still. Feel free to throw any of the features from this section onto your NPCs to spice them up some!
* **Appetite:** A creature with this trait has the ability, and perhaps desire, to eat others. The creature is considered proficient in Athletics if they aren't already. The creature may make devour contests as a player character could too. Creatures with this trait are likely able to identify which creatures are possible to eat easily and may take this opportunity. The creature deals acid digestion damage in the form of 1d4 plus their constitution modifier.
* **Glutton:** A creature with this trait has dedicated their lifestyle to the consumption of others. This creature's ability check to devour others becomes a +10 if it was not already. This creature's digestion damage is equal to 1d6 plus their constitution modifier in the form of acid damage.
* **Subtle:** A creature with this trait is either incapable of eating others, or simply unlikely to. In return they gain advantage on checks and saving throws to avoid being eaten instead. These creatures also gain stealth and perception proficiency to help avoid predators.
* **Willing:** A creature with this trait is a complete gutslut. Their health is doubled, but they cannot and will not resist any attempt to eat them.
##### Digestion Damage Calculations Not all creatures have a special digestion trait or ability applied. All creatures deal digestion damage based off of their CR or "Challenge Rating" unless specified otherwise in their stat block.
##### Digestion Damage | CR | Damage | |:----:|:-------------| | 0-2 | 1d4 | | 3-5 | 2d4 | | 6-8 | 3d4 | | 9-11 | 3d6 | | 12-16 | 3d8 | | 17-20 | 3d10 | | 20+ | 4d10 | The damage type should be determined by the DM as appropriate, but typically defaults to Acid damage. Certain creatures may have specified damage types, or abilities and actions that allow them to deal a damage type different than what is listed in the table on this page. Digestion damage for a non-player creature is dealt with an action *or* bonus action, but cannot be done more than once per turn unless specified otherwise by their statblock, a spell, or used items. \pagebreakNum ##### Contorting Giant
Contortionists are known for getting into tight spaces, these giants are no exception. There is no hiding place safe from a Contorting Giant, as no space you can reach is outside of their reach.
\pagebreakNum ##### Detention Drone
A pinnacle of magitech, a machine for live capture and easy delivery of live creatures! Luckily these guys are total pushovers! Right?
The Detention Drone Warden usually commands a group of multiple Drones. It is suggested a Warden commands no more than 1d4 drones. In the situation of a prison or high-population area this rule should be ignored, and instead the Warden should be given 1 Drone per dozen (12) prisoners. Other circumstances may cause exceptions, but a single Drone can cost several hundred gold pieces to create, and a Warden can easily cost thousands of gold pieces to create. Most societies cannot afford more than a single Warden, let alone the Drones it may command.
Pictured: Detention Drone Warden (See Next Page)
\pagebreakNum ##### Detention Drone Warden
The ultimate machine. The Detention Drone Warden is a strange construct made by powerful and secretive magic societies to guard prisons, banks, temples, and other high-priority locations such as the Temple of the Apex. Darya and I have learned first hand these things aren't pushovers, and that isn't even to mention the Wardens usually have a small group with them!
\pagebreakNum ##### False Lamia There is many things one could say about the False Lamia, if they could typically remember an encounter with one. The False Lamia uses a siren-song style lure to force others to forget about its existence. Those eaten by this entity are soon forgotten too. You stared into the abyss, and it was the wide maw of this entity. These monsters are not to be trusted if you can remember them long enough to interact in depth. The False Lamia's origins and ambitions are little to unknown, but the gluttony and lust of the great beast is incomparable to any but the Tarrasque. Of the few who know of the False Lamia there is belief this entity is the natural predator of the Tarrasque itself, and perhaps even why there is only one known Tarrasque in existance in the Material Plane.
\pagebreakNum ##### False Lamia (Continued) It is difficult to take notes on the False Lamia, it seems any record of the beast is often lost, destroyed, or most commonly forgotten and written off as mere fiction to scare others. It seems the entity can't effect those outside of a certain radius of itself though..
I keep finding these strange drawings in my book lately, I really need to figure out who is doodling in my book, it is starting to spook me.
\pagebreakNum ##### False Lamia (Continued)
\pagebreakNum ##### Filling Cloak
A smart mage makes animated armor or binds a gargoyle. A wierd one makes animated clothes that eats intruders. It IS kinda hot though in a wierd way.
\pagebreakNum ##### Ghosts
An icon of undead entities, the ghost is the very essence of a restless spirit. The next few pages feature several approaches to the iconic concept of how a soul turned ghost in a voracious world might just play out..
Page Art By Anonymous Artist . \pagebreakNum ##### Devoured Maiden
The Devoured Maiden, a folklore tale of a digested person coming back seeking revenge on their predator. These lesser ghosts are likely just a tale told to scare people into not eating their neighbors but on the off chance they are real maybe I should advise Darya not to eat all those goblins..
\pagebreakNum ##### Hungering Phantom
The endless gluttony and hunger of a mortal soul sometimes creates something more lasting, the empty hunger becoming a filling presence, and that presence is the Hungering Phantom.
\pagebreakNum ##### Spoiled Witch
Immortality is found in many stranged methods, but none more unusual than the Spoiled Witch. A ghost that feeds itself to a living creature to possess their body and take their lifespan for themself. Weird...weirdly hot that is.
\pagebreakNum ##### Living Doll
These dangerous dolls devour and digest everything they can, sneaky too! Darya insists I do not bring up the Haunted House incident or she will eat me..worth it.
Page Art By Guest Artist [Kreed](https://bsky.app/profile/kreed360.bsky.social) \pagebreakNum ##### Living Doll (Continued) Living Dolls are a series of various-size constructs that rely on stealthy singular-targeting attacks over loud attacks. To avoid potential TPKs (Total Party Kills) it is advised to never use as many Dolls as you have players. There should always be one more party member than there is Living Doll in the initial encounter to avoid a quick TPK. Unless your entire group is consenting and into that, then you're probably going to use a lot of these.
Living Dolls can come in a great variety of sizes, shapes, and appearances. From your typical stuffed doll to your lifelike mannequins, to your delicate porcelain dolls.
\pagebreakNum ##### Living Doll (Continued)
\pagebreakNum ##### Plants
Plants, I have been told I have a green thumb but I think I would not take my chance with these greens.
\pagebreakNum ##### Devouring Gourd
Darya says they look cute but I disagree, she can study these ones but I am going to keep my distance.
\pagebreakNum ##### Hungerwood Tree & Starved Spectre
Legend says a well fed Hungerwood Tree can undergo a metamorphosis into a different species altogether that grows fruits like a goodberry. Darya insists we get some volunteers to test that theory, but once again I'm keeping a good distance.
\pagebreakNum ##### Hungerwood Tree & Starved Spectre (Continued)
\pagebreakNum ##### Plumpsest Painting
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, I'm beginning to think some of those words are gurgle, groan, and burp.
**Author's Note:** *The Plumpsest is one of many monsters, like a Shadow, which hold a low CR but a high potential for danger. It is ill-advises to include multiple Plumpsests in an adventure, especially without reasonable warning to players.*
**Lost Arcane Art.** The legend of the Plumpsest is a guardian portrait of voracious capabilities and immense potential. Only very powerful spellcasters of forgotten times knew the methods to create a Plumpsest. Those eaten by the painting are usually added to it, or lost forever.
\pagebreakNum ##### Quickvore Siege Orb
**Voracious Transmutation.** The creation of a Quickvore Siege Orb is similar to the creation of a very rare magic item, and should typically be treated as such. It requires a being with an intelligence of 20 or greater to be created and properly attuned to a creature if the creator is not an Artificer or Wizard. Any experienced Artificer of 16th level can create a Quickvore Siege Orb as an infusion as well. Any wizard of 16th level or higher can create a Quickvore Siege Orb through the same process they would create a very rare magic item.
### 16th-level Infusions These infusions are available at level 16. #### Quickvore Siege Orb *Item: Arcane Focus Orb (requires attunement)* This infusion creates a Quickvore Siege Orb. The orb is used like the stat block provided on the next page, but cannot be attuned to an unwilling creature. The Artificer may designate themself and any ally within sight during atunement as a master who can give the orb orders.
A diagram of sorts, I should get Darya to test one of these things sometime...
\pagebreakNum ##### Quickvore Siege Orb (Continued)
\pagebreakNum ##### Scarecow
Note to self: Darya does not like farms apparently. I went to a corn maze with Darya once, but I guess she didn't have fun because I couldn't find her after. I found her again later that night and she wouldn't tell me what happened but made me promise no more corn maze dates.
\pagebreakNum ##### Vampire
Believed to be the pinnacle of undeath, the Vampire is a mighty enemy and- nice ass...
\pagebreakNum ##### Vampire (Continued)
\pagebreakNum ##### Vampire Spawn
The minions of vampires, a Vampire Spawn is created by- hey where'd Pixxy go?
\pagebreakNum ##### Wererat Matron
The wererat matron, otherwise known as the rat who makes all of the rules. These big ladies are the top banana, the big cheese who are looking for that bread. I'd make another food pun but Darya has said she'll feed me to one of these if I make another pun. Shame too, I had one about eggs that always cracks her up.
\pagebreakNum ##### Wererat Matron (Continued) A Wererate Matron is not simply born, it is earned. Amongst the wererats a member of the group (typically a female) exercises a show in strength with their appetite. Only the increasing power and appetite of a Wererat proves it capable enough to be a matron. Though the specifics of these rituals are unknown to outsiders it is believed that a matron is made when another wererat eats a matron. In reality this is only one of many ways a wererat can become a matron.
\pagebreakNum ##### Bonus Content
That's strange, I don't remember writing these pages! I wonder what's here...
**Author's Note:** The following content is either free extra content we added for fun/theme or supporter benefits. We hope you enjoy! \pagebreakNum ##### Brides of Strahd
The Brides of Strahd. The four vampire spawn created by Strahd Von Zarovich in Ravenloft, these four are considered Strahd's consorts with special titles, though some think they second as generals to Strahd's armies.
###### Anastrasya
Considered to be Strahd's first bride, little is known of Anastrasya, though many consider she may be the most active of his brides, often hosting social events to manupulate the population of Barovia into submission.
\pagebreakNum ###### Escher
The most recent and least loyal of the brides, Escher is technically not yet a bride and is merely a pure consort. Escher often works against his dark master to ensure Strahd's downfall if possible.
\pagebreakNum ###### Ludmilla
Ludmilla is an interesting bride. Unlike the Anastrasya, Ludmilla has no interest in social gatherings. But unlike Volenta it is not due to her violent desires. Even moreso unlike Escher it is not out of disloyalty to Strahd. It seems Ludmilla is our local introvert and bookworm.
\pagebreakNum ###### Volenta
Volenta, the masked bride. It is believed that she is the youngest of the brides, being turned roughly 20 years before the events in Ravenloft known as the "Curse of Strahd"
\pagebreakNum ##### Ezmerelda d'Avenir & Ireena Kolyana
Powerful allies against the dark lord Strahd von Zarovich, Darya and I have had the honors to fight the brides of Strahd with these women. Though I had the pleasure of learning how good Ireena was with that backside.
\pagebreakNum ##### Ezmerelda d'Avenir
Ezmerelda d'Avenir, also known as Ez, this vistana bounty hunter is an expert against werewolves and vamps alike! Pairs with a good wine!
\pagebreakNum ##### Ireena Kolyana
Ireena, a noble lady from the village of Barovia, and the desire of Strahd Von Zarovich. Ireena herself is the unknowing reincarnation of Tatyana, a woman Strahd lusted for over 700 years ago. She didn't say yes then, and she isn't saying yes now. But Strahd persists anyways. Boundary issues much?
\pagebreakNum ##### Strahd Von Zarovich
**Author's Note:**
Strahd Von Zarovich originates from the
popular module "Curse of Strahd"
and it is suggested any use of this stat
block is done with usage of the
module as well.
Strahd Von Zarovich, the ultimate vampire blah blah blah. This stinky vampire sucks. I'd stick my tongue out at Strahd if I could express that in writing.
\pagebreakNum ##### Vasilka
A flesh golem created in mirror of Tatyana, Vasilka was made to be a suitable bride for Strahd von Zarovich. She is unfortunately doomed to fail, and will likely eat away her sorrows much like she eats away her enemies.
\pagebreakNum ##### Harpy **Donator Reward Entry**

\pagebreakNum ##### Harpy **Donator Reward Entry (Bonus)**
ALSO tastes like chicken!

\pagebreakNum ##### Introducing Botch Blotches
**Strange Origins:** The Botch Blotch, also known as Botch or Blotch are a species of semi-slime entities with ghastly origins. A long-forgotten ritual mages believe may have been for resurrection or summoning created an undead slime of sorts. These beings seem to hold a strange connection to life and death by holding a semi-living skeletal structure within their plasmoid-like bodies. The lifeforce of a blotch appears to be tied to the remains of which they were created with. The very essence and memory of a being can sometimes be within a blotch, and at times even a warped instance of the once living person's soul.
**Varying Species:** Blotches come in many shapes, sizes, colors, and forms. The only similarity between two blotches is a goopy body surrounding a skeletal structure or series of bones.
**Exotic Culture:** Blotch are not born, they are made. As such, a society or cuture built around Blotch and their kin. When a society is built, the number of bones within a blotch can sometimes bare mark to their rank or social standing. Those deemed of mature standing are typically used as emissaries or representatives to explore and negotiate with other communities.
Page Art By Guest Artist [Pebbleroni](https://bsky.app/profile/pebbleroni.bsky.social) \pagebreakNum ##### The Primordial Ooze An ancient being credited as the first ever blotch, this entity's name is long forgotten to both written and spoken histories. Simply referred to as the Elder Blotch or Primordial Ooze instead. This monstrosity is a powerful patron to slime-kind, and the protector of Blotch society.
Page Art By Guest Artist [Pebbleroni](https://bsky.app/profile/pebbleroni.bsky.social)
\pagebreakNum ##### Player Race: The Blotch The following information is your guide to making a player-race Blotch character!
**Ability Scores:** A Blotch has a racial modifier of +1 to three seperate stats, these three +1s cannot be stacked together in any manner.
**Creature Type:** Undead Ooze
**Size:** Small or Medium
**Speed:** 30 ft.
**Age.** Blotches are created at the age of the entity who's bones are used for their creation. The remains of an adult specimen is required for a Blotch ritual to occur at all. Blotches cannot age, or do not age at a rate yet recorded by historians.
**Size.** Blotches being a variety of forms come in a variety of sizes, usually ranging between 3 to 6 feet tall. Most Blotches use human bones and thusly stand around a human height range though. The slime of a Blotch is usually lighter than flesh, but a Blotch can sometimes gather enough extra mass to make up for that. The average Blotch stands somewhere around 150 pounds. Your size is either Small or Medium.
**Darkvision.** Born of strange magic, your vision can slip through the darkness. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
**Amorphous.** You can squeeze through a space as if you were one size category smaller (to a minimum of 1ft if already small by default), provided you are wearing and carrying nothing. You may optionally use this feature to take up half the capacity you would normal take when eaten, and you may also use this feature to require one less successful devour attempt to be eaten during a devouring contest.
**Exotic Biology.** Your origins are your own, the creation of your physical form created unique resistances potentially even unlike your fellow Blotches. Upon choosing the Blotch race choose one option from the following list. - You have resistance to Necrotic and Poison Damage. - You have resistance to Acid and Poison Damage. - You have resistance to Acid and Necrotic Damage. Then choose from the following list as well. - You deal Acid Digestion Damage. - You deal Necrotic Digestion Damage. - You deal Poison Digestion Damage.
**Unnatural Nature.** You are from the moment of creation onwards both an Ooze and an Undead, as such any spell that does not affect an Ooze or Undead does not affect you, but any spell that targets either type works still. Additionally, you may heal by 1 hit die (without expending the hit die) every time you completely digest a creature. You may also gain 1d4 temporary hit points whenever a creature is digested entirely inside a stomach that you are also inside of.
**Language.** You can speak, read, and write Common, Blotch, and one other language that you and your DM believe are appropriate. \pagebreakNum # Credits ### Writing, Editing, & Formatting #### VoraciousTriton / SouthernDruid The main author of the 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 versions, Triton spends most of his time reading, writing, playing, and DMing D&D 5e to begin with.
