Foreword:
The Twinstroke Convoker is an Unchained Summoner archetype. This design features new abilities as well as maneuvers from the Path of War supplement.
This archetype should not be considered for newer players or inexperienced GMs that are unfamiliar with the Systems and Use of Path of War. Check with your GM before bringing the Twinstroke Convoker to your table!
This archetype design references rules available in the Unchained Action Economy. It is otherwise compatible with the default combat system of 1st edition.

Twinstroke Convokers follow rigorous, otherworldly traditions that sharpens their combat prowess in ways others would fail to understand. By combining powerful conjurations and the art of the blade, these initiates are able to extensively practice and spar with the most diverse creatures the Outworlds can produce. Their esoteric rituals allow these disciples to form unique bonds with those they conjure, and work together seamlessly in tandem during the heat of battle.
Class Features
The following are class features of the Twinstroke Convoker.
Maneuvers
A Twinstroke Convoker begins her career with knowledge of three martial maneuvers. The disciplines available to her are Black Seraph, Cursed Razor, Elemental Flux, Eternal Guardian, Shattered Mirror, and Silver Crane.
Once the Twinstroke Convoker knows a maneuver, she must ready it before she can use it (see Maneuvers Readied, below). A maneuver usable by Twinstroke Convokers is considered an extraordinary ability unless otherwise noted in it or its discipline’s description. A Twinstroke Convoker’s maneuvers are not affected by spell resistance, and she does not provoke attacks of opportunity when she initiates one.
The Twinstroke Convoker learns additional maneuvers at higher levels, as indicated on Table: Archetype Maneuver Progression. The maximum level of maneuvers gained through Twinstroke Convoker levels is limited by those listed in that table as well, although this restriction does not apply to maneuvers added to her maneuvers known through other methods, such as prestige classes or the Advanced Study feat. A Twinstroke Convoker must meet a maneuver’s prerequisite to learn it. See Systems and Use for more details on how maneuvers are used.
Upon reaching 4th level, and at every even numbered initiator level thereafter (6th, 8th, 10th, and so on), the Twinstroke Convoker can choose to learn a new maneuver in place of one she already knows. In effect, she loses the old maneuver in exchange for the new one. She can choose a new maneuver of any level she likes, as long as she observes the restriction on the highest-level maneuvers she knows; the Twinstroke Convoker need not replace the old maneuver with a maneuver of the same level. She can swap only a single maneuver at any given level. A Twinstroke Convoker’s initiation modifier is Charisma, and each Twinstroke Convoker level is counted as a full initiator level.
The Summoner has one fewer spell per day of each spell level she can cast. If this would reduce her spells per day to 0, she may only cast bonus spells that she received of that level due to a high Charisma score.
This alters spells.
Maneuvers Readied
A Twinstroke Convoker can ready all three of her maneuvers known at 1st level, and as she advances in level and learns more maneuvers, she is able to ready more, but must still choose which maneuvers to ready. A Twinstroke Convoker must always ready her maximum number of maneuvers readied. She readies her maneuvers by tapping into her bond with planar energies for ten minutes. The maneuvers she chooses remain readied until she decides to meditate again and change them. The Twinstroke Convoker does not need to sleep or rest for any long period of time in order to ready her maneuvers; any time she spends ten minutes in practice, she can change her readied maneuvers.
A Twinstroke Convoker begins an encounter with all her readied maneuvers unexpended, regardless of how many times she might have already used them since she chose them. When she initiates a maneuver, she expends it for the current encounter, so each of her readied maneuvers can be used once per encounter (unless she recovers them, as described below).
In order for the Twinstroke Convoker to recover maneuvers, she must refocus on the planar energies that bind her conjurations as a full-round action (3 acts). She must have a Summon Monster or Eidolon active and within close range. When she does so, she recovers a number of maneuvers equal to her initiation modifier (minimum 2). Until her next turn, her Eidolon or Summoned Monster gains one of the following bonuses: +10 feet to all speeds, +1 deflection bonus to AC, +1 insight bonus on attack rolls, or a +1 resistance bonus on saving throws. At 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter, these bonuses increase by 1 (+10 for speed). In addition, whenever the Summoner recovers maneuvers in this way, she may cast one Summoner spell that targets herself and/or her Eidolon or Summoned Monster as a swift action (bonus act).
This ability replaces Transposition.
Stances
A Twinstroke Convoker begins play with knowledge of one stance from any discipline open to her. At 4th, 7th, 11th, and 13th levels, she can select an additional stance to learn. The maximum level of stances gained through Twinstroke Convoker levels is limited by those listed in Table: Archetype Maneuver Progression. Unlike maneuvers, stances are not expended and the Twinstroke Convoker does not have to ready them. All the stances she knows are available to her at all times, and she can change the stance she is currently maintaining as a swift action (1 act). A stance is an extraordinary ability unless otherwise stated in the stance or discipline description.
Unlike with maneuvers, a Twinstroke Convoker cannot learn a new stance at higher levels in place of one she already knows.
This ability replaces Merge Forms.

At 2nd level, the Twinstroke Convoker is able to bestow her maneuvers through planar tethers tied to those she has conjured. During her turn, the Twinstroke Convoker can expend a single Boost as a move action (1 act) or single Strike as a standard action (2 acts) in order to grant her Eidolon or a single Summoned Monster the ability to initiate the expended maneuver on its turn. The Eidolon or Summoned Monster uses the Twinstroke Convoker’s initiation modifier and initiator level (including any Animus) to determine the effects of the maneuver. After the Eidolon or Summoned Monster initiates the maneuver or 1 minute passes, it is expended. Beginning at 8th level, as a free action, the Twinstroke Convoker can effortlessly grant a single Boost or Strike during her turn to her Eidolon or single Summoned Monster. In addition, she can grant her Eidolon or Summoned Monster a Counter as an immediate action (reaction). The Twinstroke Convoker cannot use this ability to grant a maneuver in the same round in which it was initiated by her Eidolon or Summoned Monster. This ability replaces Bond Senses.
At 6th level, the Twinstroke Convoker can share her prowess directly with her Eidolon or Summoned Monsters. As a move action (1 act) she can have her Eidolon or a single Summoned Monster also adopt her current stance for a number of rounds equal to her initiation modifier (minimum 2). The creature must be within close range, and be able to hear and understand the Twinstroke Convoker. The Twinstroke Convoker can use this ability once per day at 6th level, plus one additional time per day for every four levels beyond 6th. This ability replaces Maker’s Call.
At 10th level, the Twinstroke Convoker’s constant practice with otherworldly creatures comes to fruition. Once per day, she can declare a Strike maneuver as a Twinstroke before making an attack roll. The Strike maneuver is immediately granted to her Eidolon or a single Summoned Monster within close range (as if through Planar Tactics). After the Eidolon or Summoned Monster initiates the maneuver or 1 round passes, it is expended. At 14th level she may use Twinstroke twice per day, and three times per day at 18th level. This ability replaces Aspect and Greater Aspect.Planar Tactics (Su)
Maker's Stance (Su)
