The Zealot
As the Zealot, you gain the following abilities. Your abilities grow strong with the more prideful actions that you take.
Unholy Assurance
Your mind has slowly been purged of all self doubt, fear, and humility. Whether you are peering into the unknown or focusing on your own aspirations of glory and grandeur you cannot be assuaged. You gain an expertise on insight, and you gain advantage on all insight checks and concentration saving throws.
Zealous rebuke

- Duration: Concentration, indefinite
Three times per short rest, you assault a creature's mind that you can see with your fanatical beliefs and ideologies. The creatures intelligence must be at least 6 or higher, otherwise the spell automatically fails. The target creature must succeed a DC 15 wisdom saving throw or they become rebuked. For each creature that has been rebuked by this spell you receive 5 points of psychic damage at the beginning of their turn, or until they are no longer rebuked.
Rebuked
Rebuked creatures receive psychic damage (10 + spell casting modifier + proficiency) each turn. Creatures then must succeed a DC 15 wisdom saving throw, or die, to lose this status. If a rebuked creature would die, they are healed 10 hit points and become your thrall until they die. You can control their turn as a bonus action. Thralls retain all of their memories, and the Zealot can telepathically communicate with them if they're on the same plane.

Swan Song
At third level The Zealot has the ability to utilize their swan song. In order to use this ability the Zealot must sacrifice their humanity, and become the Manticore.
Aspect of the Manticore
Bloody Visage
Your body is transformed into the unholy visage of the Manticore. Upon utilizing your swan song you grow a scorpion’s tail, wings of a bat, and hide of a lion. You then gain the following abilities.
Tail Lash
Class Action
- Casting Time: Bonus Action, Reaction
- Reach: 5 feet
- Hit: Strength modifier + Proficiency modifier
- Damage: 1d6 + Strength Modifier + Proficiency modifier
You lash out with your tail striking a creature with its stinger. Creatures that are hit by this attack are poisoned with the Manticore's venom. On the target’s next turn they must succeed a DC 15 constitution save on each of their turns while poisoned or they become paralyzed. That creature may make another constitution save on each of its turns to lose this status.
The Lion's Hide
Your skin is replaced with the hide of a lion, which increases your armor class by 3. Additionally, you gain resistance to piercing, bludgeoning, and slashing damage.
The Wing's of a Bat
You gain the ability to fly. Your base flying speed is 40 feet. Flying at least 15 feet towards a target that you intend to attack gives you advantage on that attack as well as one additional damage die.
Awe of the Manticore
Frightful Presence: Creatures that attack you must succeed a DC 15 wisdom saving throw or they have disadvantage when attacking you.
Zealous Aura
Class Feature
- Range: 30 foot diameter circle
Hostile creatures within a 30 ft radius that can see you must succeed a DC 25 wisdom saving throw every turn, or they take psychic damage, (25 + spell casting modifier + proficiency bonus) and their armor class is reduced by 5.

Creatures that are damaged by this ability cannot concentrate on spells and have disadvantage on wisdom saving throws until the Manticore’s next turn.

Creatures that die or fall unconscious due to this ability become enthralled.
