# Order of Anatomy ##### Blood Hunter: Occult Order; for Alternate Blood Hunter by Laserllama
# Know thy foe, know thyself To study, to learn, to understand. Unlike the many blood hunters who gain their powers through their esoteric bloodlines and connections to magical beings, the hunters of this Order gain their might through knowledge. They have studied the ins and outs of all kinds of entities, and always seek to learn more. The study of their bodies has granted these hunters an in-depth understanding of friends and foes alike, and through this wisdom they maim, slay and heal accordingly. #### Anatomic Insight *3rd level Order of Anatomy feature* Your research grants you an understanding of the physique of others and your own. You gain the following benefits: - Proficiency in the Medicine skill and with a Herbalist's Kit. - Resistance against poison damage. - If you examine a creature's body for 1 hour or more, you gain advantage on any further checks to medically examine or track another creature of the same race. #### Hemic Remedy *3rd level Order of Anatomy feature* You gain the ability to heal creatures through the power of blood transfusions. As an action, you can use your own blood to heal a creature. Touch a creature and take necrotic damage equal to one roll of your Rite Die. The target receives hit points equal to one roll of your Rite Die + your Constitution modifier. This feature has no effect on a creature without blood. Your healing increases by one die when you gain certain levels in this class (two dice at 7th level, three dice at 11th level, and four dice at 18th level). *The increase in dice does not affect the amount of damage you take to use this feature, only the amount of healing the target receives.* You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier and regain all uses on finishing a short rest or long rest before you can use it again. When you have no uses left, you can make a Vital Sacrifice to use it again. \columnbreak #### Sanguine Restoration *7th level Order of Anatomy feature* You learn how to purify the blood of yourself and others, ridding it of diseases and ailments. This feature has no effect on a creature without blood. Starting at 18th level, you may also reduce the target's exhaustion level by 1 or end either the charmed condition or petrified condition by using this feature. You may use this feature once and you regain the use after you complete a short or long rest. When you have no uses left, you can make a Vital Sacrifice to use it again. #### Vital Point *7th level Order of Anatomy feature* You know where an enemy is weakest, and take your time to win decisively. When you attack a creature, you can choose to forgo your Extra Attack, allowing you to strike a Vital Point. Half of the damage taken is reflected back at the assailant as necrotic damage (rounded down).
