Domain of The Echoes
Clerics of The Echoes walk the delicate line between life and death, serving as harbingers of balance. They hear the haunting melodies of The Echoes—the gentle hymn of the Lamb calling for mercy and the savage howl of the Wolf demanding retribution. These clerics embody the duality of death, offering solace to the dying and fierce judgment to those who defy the natural order. Whether they guide souls with compassion or hunt with relentless ferocity, they are a reminder that all paths, no matter how divergent, lead to the same inevitable end.

Echo's Choice
1st-level The Echoes feature
At 1st level, You gain proficiency with martial weapons, and you choose your path: Lamb or Wolf. This choice determines your subclass features. You can change your chosen aspect when you finish a long rest, but doing so carries a significant emotional weight.
Lamb's Mercy: When you restore hit points with a spell, you can grant the target temporary hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier. Additionally, creatures healed by you have advantage on saving throws against being frightened until the start of your next turn.
Wolf’s Savagery: When you deal damage with a melee weapon or a cleric spell, you can reroll one damage die and must use the new roll. Additionally, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to move up to your speed toward another creature without provoking opportunity attacks.
Channel Divinity – Echo’s Call
2nd-level The Echoes feature
You can use your Channel Divinity to manifest the influence of The Echoes.
Lamb: As an action, you summon a spectral arrow. Choose a number of creatures equal to your Wisdom modifier within 30 feet. These creatures heal hit points equal to 2d8 + your cleric level and gain the benefits of sanctuary until the start of your next turn.
Wolf: As an action, you let out a haunting growl. Creatures of your choice within 30 feet must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of you for 1 minute. While frightened, they cannot regain hit points. They can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns.
Echoed Bond
6th-level The Echoes feature
The Echoes intertwine their fates with yours.
Lamb: Whenever you cast a spell that heals a creature, you also regain hit points equal to half the amount healed.
Wolf: Whenever you deal damage to a creature, you can choose to take damage equal to half the amount dealt, bypassing any temporary hit points you already have. If you do, you gain temporary hit points equal to the original damage dealt.
Potent Spellcasting or Divine Strike
Your connection to The Echoes empowers your combat abilities. Depending on your chosen aspect:
Lamb: You gain Potent Spellcasting, adding your Wisdom modifier to the damage of your cleric cantrips.
Wolf: You gain Divine Strike. Once on each of your turns when you hit with a weapon attack, you can deal an additional 1d8 necrotic damage. This increases to 2d8 at 14th level.
Death’s Duality
17th-level The Echoes feature
You fully embody the balance of The Echoes. As an action, you summon the full presence of Lamb and Wolf for 1 minute.
Lamb: Once per turn when you heal a creature, you can cleanse them of one condition (blinded, charmed, deafened, frightened, paralyzed, or poisoned).
Wolf: Once per turn when you deal damage to a creature, you can mark it. A marked creature takes an additional 2d10 necrotic damage if it moves or attacks before the start of your next turn.
While this feature is active, you gain the benefits of both Lamb and Wolf, but at the end of the duration, you take 4 levels of exhaustion as the strain of embodying The Echoes overwhelms you.
