\pagebreakNum ## Red Dot ### Pandora Protocol Limited Series The Pandora Protocol: Dead Zone campaign features a special limited series called Red Dot. Red Dot is a compilation of three separate missions that see players as a sniper/specter **(Overwatch/Specter)** team completing objectives. These missions are starkly different from other Dead Zone adventures thanks to the teamwork, divide and conquer play style, and new mechanics. * **Teamwork and Tension:** Each mission requires the Overwatch/Specter team to coordinate perfectly, and they will need to trust each other’s instincts. The missions may require them to adapt quickly to unforeseen dangers, making the tension between the characters palpable. * **Explosive and Long Range:** Players will have to think about how to use long-range shots, explosives, and environmental factors (such as weather, wildlife, or urban terrain) to their advantage. These mechanics can serve as crucial turning points during high-intensity moments. * **Humanity as the Worst Enemy:** Despite the threat of infected and Nova-9 virus-driven horrors, the biggest danger often comes from human adversaries like Parasol Industries, who will stop at nothing to achieve their goals.

The mission kicks off with a HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) jump, requiring the team to jump from a plane at high altitude and navigate the thick, hostile jungle. Their primary goal is to locate a well-guarded base that holds critical intelligence about Parasol Industries’ operations. The Specter is to plant explosives at key locations throughout the base as Overwatch provides recon and cover.
### The Mirage Mile The mission revolves around a convoy ambush. Overwatch is tasked with disabling the convoy by taking out key vehicles and eliminating sentries positioned around the convoy. The Specter’s role is to infiltrate the convoy’s wreckage, search for a High-Value Target (HVT), and extract them back to base. As the convoy travels through three different terrains, multiple plans can lead to success.
### Crossfire After successfully retrieving an item on a routine mission, the Overwatch/Specter team finds themselves ambushed by an unknown enemy sniper. The enemy sniper opens fire with precision, narrowly missing them, and hacks into their radios, cutting them off from reinforcements. The team must figure out how to outwit the enemy sniper and complete their mission—returning the collected item to Kennedy Station by nightfall. \pagebreakNum

## Silent Thunder ### Briefing The mission begins with a HALO jump—a plunge from a high-altitude plane into the dense, uncharted jungle below. The drop is swift, silent, and the moment you hit the ground, the world around you turns into a maze of dense foliage, untamed wilderness, and unseen threats. The jungle is alive—alive with danger. With each step, the tension rises. The air is thick with humidity, and every rustle in the underbrush could mean something deadly is closing in. Your primary objective: find and infiltrate a heavily guarded Iron Sovereignty base. Inside this well-protected facility lies critical intelligence that could expose Parasol Industries’ darkest secrets. But time is ticking. Enemy reinforcements are on their way, and you can already feel the presence of scouts watching from the shadows. In the heart of this jungle, the Specter will need to navigate unseen, blending with the jungle itself as they stealthily approach the base to plant explosive charges at key points. Meanwhile, the Sniper takes position from afar, a silent observer, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Every movement counts, as the slightest mistake could alert the enemy, and the mission will unravel before your eyes. ### Act 1: #### HALO Jump and Jungle Navigation The Sniper/Specter team must land in the dense jungle and then traverse hostile terrain, dodging wildlife, environmental hazards, and the occasional Parasol scout patrol. Time is of the essence, as enemy reinforcements may be en route, and the terrain itself poses dangers. ### Act 2: #### Infiltrate the Iron Sovereignty Base The Specter must stealthily infiltrate the base to plant C4 charges at critical points. The Sniper must provide overwatch from a hidden perch, taking out key sentries and preventing alarms from being triggered. Communication between the team is vital here, as the Sniper must relay enemy movement patterns, and the Specter must proceed cautiously. ### Act 3: #### Exfiltrate and Detonate After planting the explosives, the team must exfiltrate. However, the detonation from a remote distance will alert the base guards, triggering an intense chase to escape the base undetected. The Sniper must clear a path as the Specter moves quickly to rendezvous and escape the jungle. \columnbreak ## Unique Features: ### Environment A tropical jungle teeming with life, the air is heavy with humidity, and the cacophony of insects and birds fills the atmosphere. Dense vegetation creates a claustrophobic effect, where visibility is limited to a few meters. Massive trees with twisting vines form a natural canopy, casting eerie shadows across the forest floor. The terrain is steep, with mud-covered paths and treacherous ridges as the party ascends the towering mountain. * **Natural Obstacles:** Slippery mud, razor-sharp undergrowth, and hidden streams. * **Fauna:** Camouflaged predators such as jaguars or venomous snakes. * **Hazards:** Sudden rainstorms that create flash floods or landslides.

## The Mirage Mile ### Briefing Your mission begins with a high-stakes ambush on a heavily guarded convoy. The convoy moves like clockwork—perfectly synchronized, each vehicle a crucial part of a well-oiled machine. But you’ve been tasked with one thing: disable it. A sniper’s dream. Your first objective: to bring down key vehicles without destroying the convoy entirely. The fuel truck, the lead vehicle, the supply trucks—each one must be disabled with expert precision. Every shot must count. A single wrong move could destroy the vital intel you’re after or kill the High-Value Target (HVT) you’ve been sent to extract. The Specter, meanwhile, will be the one who moves through the wreckage, sneaking past disabled vehicles and sentries, always staying out of sight. The Specter is your eyes on the ground. They must avoid detection, navigate the chaos, and locate the HVT hidden among the wreckage or inside one of the trucks. The hunt for the HVT will not be easy, though. Hidden traps, explosives, and infected individuals may be lurking in the trucks, waiting for an unwary intruder to stumble into their path. ### Act 1: #### Ambush the Convoy The Sniper must carefully time their shots to disable the convoy while ensuring not to destroy the vehicles entirely, which would make the extraction process impossible. Key vehicles need to be disabled (such as the fuel truck, the lead vehicle, etc.), while guards must be picked off strategically to create an opening for the Specter. ### Act 2: #### Specter Infiltration Once the convoy is immobilized, the Specter must move through the wreckage, avoiding detection. The Specter must search the trucks, which may contain valuable intel, equipment, or the High-Value Target. The Specter must be cautious of hidden dangers in the vehicles, such as explosives, traps, or infected individuals trapped inside. \columnbreak
### Act 3: #### Secure the HVT and Escape After locating the HVT, the Specter must escort them to a safe extraction point. The team must avoid enemy reinforcements while planning a quick getaway. The escape route is fraught with dangers, from hostile soldiers to possible traps planted by Parasol Industries to slow them down. Twist: Some of the guards around the convoy might be wearing body armor enhanced with Parasol technology, meaning they are resistant to regular sniper shots. The Sniper must figure out the best angle and weak points to take them down. ## Unique Features: ### Environment A seemingly endless desert highway, stretching for hundreds of miles beneath a brutal, unrelenting sun. The road is cracked and sun-bleached, with sand dunes encroaching from both sides. Heatwaves ripple off the asphalt, distorting the horizon and creating mirages that disorient travelers. Abandoned vehicles, skeletal remains of gas stations, and weathered billboards dot the landscape, hinting at the road's lost history. * **Sandstorms:** Sudden tempests reduce visibility to nearly zero, threatening to bury vehicles and equipment. * **Ambush Points:** Dunes and wreckage provide cover for enemies or bandits lying in wait. * **Limited Resources:** Water and fuel are scarce, requiring careful management.

## Crossfire ### Briefing: It starts like any other mission. The objective is simple: retrieve the item and make your way back to Kennedy Station before nightfall. But in the blink of an eye, everything goes sideways. The sound of a rifle shot shatters the calm, followed by a second, closer, and more deadly. You’re under attack. An unknown sniper has you locked in his sights, his rifle crackling with a deadly precision that seems to anticipate your every move. It’s not just your life on the line—it’s the item you've just collected, and it’s far more valuable than you first thought. The sniper doesn’t miss. Your radios are hacked. You’re cut off from reinforcements, and the clock is ticking. You have until nightfall to return the item, but first, you need to survive. You’ll have to rely on each other and your wits—because this sniper is no ordinary marksman. Crossfire is a game of patience, precision, and trust. \columnbreak ## Unique Features: ### Environment A devastated downtown intersection, surrounded by the husks of once-bustling skyscrapers now reduced to jagged steel and crumbling concrete. Fires smolder in the wreckage, casting an orange glow on the ash-filled air. Abandoned vehicles litter the streets, many flipped or crushed by the chaos. The sound of creaking metal and the occasional explosion echoes through the ruins. * **Tight Quarters:** The intersection is a labyrinth of rubble, overturned vehicles, and makeshift barricades. * **Cover Points:** Debris and destroyed vehicles provide opportunities for tactical movement. * **Hazards:** Collapsing buildings, unstable ground, unexploded ordnance.
