Centaurs gallop throughout the multiverse and trace their origins to many different realms. The centaurs presented here hail from the Feywild and mystically resonate with the natural world. From the waist up, they resemble elves, displaying all the elf varieties of skin tone. From the waist down, they have the bodies of horses.

You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push or drag. In addition, any climb that requires hands and feet is especially difficult for you because of your equine legs. When you make such a climb, each foot of movement costs you 4 extra feet instead of the normal 1 extra foot.
You have hooves that you can use to make unarmed strikes. When you hit with them, the strike deals 1d6 + your Strength modifier bludgeoning damage, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Your fey connection to nature gives you an intuitive connection to the natural world and the animals within it. You therefore have proficiency in one of the following skills of your choice: Animal Handling, Medicine, Nature, or Survival.
Your character can speak, read, and write Common and one other language that you and your DM agree is appropriate for the character. The Player’s Handbook offers a list of languages to choose from. The DM is free to modify that list for a campaign. \pagebreakNum
Alseid or Cervitaur are the graceful woodland counsins to centaurs, born with the nimble bodies of deer. Their role as the protectors of nature earned them the nickname "grove nymphs", although they most closely resemble elves than nymphs. They're known as the protector of forests in the material realm, they're weary of outsiders and never show themselves, prefering to stay hidden among the trees. It's not unheard of for alseid to help lead people to safety outside the forest but when an outsider disrespect the forest and its inhabitants in any way, they aren't recieved with the same kindness.

Magnataur are the bulkier cousins of the Centaur family. The upper parts of their body resemble half giants and cyclopses due to their size but they still share many resemblances to elves such as pointy ears and thin facial structures. The lower part of their body resembles either elephants or hippopotamus with a large bulk of muscle underneath a thin layer of fat. Male Magnataur are typically born with elephas or Elephant-like features such as tusks and nails, while female Magnar are typically born with hippopotamus-like features.

Legend says a particularly cruel group of centaurs drew blood for many years in and out of the feywild. During a raid one of the younger centaurs was touched by the fear they caused and when a small satyr was about to be executed, he intervined, turning on his own for what he believed was right. This got the attention of one of the gods of the ancient pantheon. Impressed by the virtuous traits demonstrated he blessed this centaur and with that, he was able to save the satyr and many others in his lifetime. Pterocentaurs are said to be descendants of this ancient hero and many believe they still share a fraction of the holiness bestowed on him. Appearance wise, Pterocentaurs still share many of the features you'd expect, such as the elven-like appearance and horse lower body. The most notable difference is the large wings on their horse body. The wings vary wildly in colour but theyre also said to never truly stop growing, making it possible to identify the age of a pterocentaur by the size of its wing. The wings are too small and lack the muscular strength for permanent flight, it can be used but only briefly before it becomes exhausting. \columnbreak
You are a Humanoid.
You are Small or Medium, your choice when you select this race.
Your wings are an asset in battle but improportionate size compared to the rest of your body makes them only usable temporalily. You gain the following effects: * Once per short rest, you may utilise your wings to gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed for up to 1 min. You may not benefit from this flying speed if you're wearing heavy armour. Additionally you may carry one more person on your back. When done this way you instead gain a flying speed equals to half your walking speed. * You may utilise your wings to soften a fall. You take half the bludgening damage you'd normally take from falling damage.
If you move at least 30 feet straight toward a target and then hit it with a melee weapon attack on the same turn, you can immediately follow that attack with a bonus action, making one attack against the target with your hooves. If you move the 30 feet using your flying speed you also gain advantage on the first attack against the target.
Your character can speak, read, and write Common, Drudic, Sylvian and one other language that you and your DM agree is appropriate for the character. The Player’s Handbook offers a list of languages to choose from. The DM is free to modify that list for a campaign. \pagebreakNum
Although unicentaurs are native to the upper planes, the connection they share with unicorns are quite mysterius. Perhaps there was a creature before unicorns that created both, or perhaps humans and animals were changed by the environment itself.
Your walking speed is 40 feet. \columnbreak
You may cast the 'healing word' spell at first level a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded up. When cast this way the creature regains the maximum number of hit points. You may use this feature if you run out of uses, but if done so you gain 1 exhaustion point per time cast.
