It retains no memories of its previous self and is driven by alien hunger. It can communicate telepathically with any creature within 60 feet and may emit brief flashes of stolen memory or emotion from other consumed hosts of the colony. > > ### Mindrot Spores (1/Day) > As an action, the Sporg Body releases spores tainted by the mindflayer's influence. Creatures within 10 feet must succeed on a DC 15 Intelligence saving throw or be afflicted with **Mindrot**. > > **Mindrot:** Affected creatures suffer disadvantage on Intelligence and Wisdom checks and saving throws for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success. > > ### Host Resilience > The Sporg Body has advantage on saving throws against being stunned or paralyzed. If reduced to 0 hit points, it instead collapses becoming inert for 48 hours, after which it awakens at full HP, unless killed with fire damage or beheaded. When killed by fire damage 1d12 mindflayer tadpoles will emerge from the corpse and attempt to flee. ___ > ## Actions > > ### Slam > *Melee Weapon Attack:* +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. > *Hit:* 13 (2d8 + 3) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. > > ### Parasitic Probing (Recharge 5–6) > The Sporg Body targets one creature within 30 feet it can see. The creature must make a DC 15 Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 18 (4d8) psychic damage and has its Intelligence reduced by 1. On a success, it takes half damage and suffers no additional effect. > > ### Sporecloud (Recharge 5–6) > The Sporg Body exhales a thick cloud of fungal spores in a 10-foot radius. Creatures in the area must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or become confused (As per the **Confusion** Spell), if a creature fails the save by 6 or more it is infected with *Mindrot*.
