Circle of Cobwebs for Druid

Wall Walkers

The spider is a noble and necessary creature, weaving together webs to keep the pest population down. Druids of the Circle of Cobwebs seek to emulate the spider, culling troublesome creatures while spinning webs of great intricacy. These druids see beauty in order, whether it is the pattern of a spider's web, or order imposed on chaos by destroying the agents of that chaos.

Subclass Features

Arachnid Forms

2nd-level Circle of Cobwebs feature

You are at home in a spider's shape. As a bonus action, you can use your Wild Shape to transform into a spider form without expending a use of your Wild Shape. All the rules of Wild Shape still apply.

Additionally, you can use this feature to transform into a giant spider form without expending a use of your Wild Shape up to a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier, and regain all expended when you finish a long rest.

Spider Legs

2nd-level Circle of Cobwebs feature

You have a climbing speed equal to your walking speed and can move up, down, and across vertical surfaces and upside down along ceilings, while leaving your hands free. You also ignore movement restrictions caused by webbing. While you are in contact with webbing, you know the exact location of any other creature in contact with the same web.

Venomous Constitution

2nd-level Circle of Cobwebs feature

You have resistance to poison damage and advantage on saving throws to avoid or end the poisoned condition on yourself.

Silk Slinger

6th-level Circle of Cobwebs feature

You are able to generate strands of webbing that are incredibly strong and quick. As a bonus action, you can shoot a strand of web up to 60 feet from you. The end of this strand is sticky, automatically attaching to any surface or creature it touches. A creature can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC to break the web.

As a part of the bonus action used to attach this web to a creature, you can force the creature to make a Strength saving throw. On a failure, the creature is pulled in a straight line towards you, ending in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of you.

As a part of the bonus action used to attach this web to a surface, you can move up to 60 feet in a straight line towards the point where the web is attached without provoking opportunity attacks. If the surface is a wall or ceiling, you can use your Spider Legs to land safely on that surface at the point of attachment.

If you attach one end of the web to a surface and release the other end or attach it to a second surface, the web can be used as a rope by other creatures.

You can have no more than two strands of webbing at a time. If you have two strands and create another, the oldest disappears. All strands disappear when you finish a short or a long rest.

Spider's Bite

10th-level Circle of Cobwebs feature

Every time a creature fails a saving throw against one of your druid spells or against your Silk Slinger feature, it takes 1d8 poison damage and gains the poisoned condition until the end of your next turn.

Veins of Venom

14th-level Circle of Cobwebs feature

You are immune to poison damage and to the poisoned condition.

Additionally, anytime you deal poison damage, you regain hit points equal to the poison damage dealt.
