# Preface
"Youth is a curious treasure. We spend the first part of our lives desperate to outgrow it, and the rest of it looking backward in envy. We armor ourselves in titles and trinkets, wrap ourselves in ambition and trophies, and trick ourselves into believing age and experience equates to wisdom. Such is folly, so do not scoff at Life's Cradle, dear traveler—for within it lies a magic older and wilder than the toughest of steels. It is a force that can strip away one's pride with a mere breath, reducing even the most resilient to a wailing babe."

##### Vesper to the Yester Worlds
Weep, o kith and kin; cry for the Yester Worlds, our dear memories which the darkness stole. Sing of Lucine, the spark in slumber, her cradble before time where the Newborn woke crying; Molding the tapestry, weaving firmament in the threads of magic pure, tiny hands clutching the keys of rebirth. Woken in silence, she breathed in the ashes; sovereign, she rose at the New World's dawn.
Weep, o kith and kin; cry for the ruins, the shattered remains of worlds forgotten. Sing of her work as the Architect, gathering in hands too small the fragments of ruin and stardust; Building new kingdoms for bright Kinder, shaping its mountains from remnant memory, binding the broken and smoothing the jagged; crafting our cradles from that which came before.
Weep, o kith and kin; cry for the wildes, the first that spilled from the Newborn’s dreaming. Sing of the creatures that walked in her fancy, born from the depths of dreams; Greatwyrms of wonder who soared through the skies, Titans of clay who held up the horizons, a menagerie wondrous, unfettered and flawless, drawing their life from the grace of her spirit.
Weep, o kith and kin; cry for the prideful, a gathering storm in conflict with the Leylight. Sing of the Magics that withered and blackened, sing of the fall of the proud Crtomirl; the Magiocracy shattered, towers brought low by Magister Kings blind in their pursuits. Triumvirate broken and swallowed by hubris, reaped by the vengeance of time and regression.
Weep, o kith and kin; cry for the shadows, a world-shaking horror. Sing of the night long dark, the calamity final, tearing the sky from blest creation; Frozen in the starlight, the heavens laid bled, breathless and cold under terror’s black mantle, For no sun shall rise when so cometh all that ends.
Weep, o kith and kin; cry for the mourning, now broken and chased by the light of renewal. Sing of the world in holy Rebirth, rise anew under mercy and magic; a Pantheon crowned in celestial thrones, seated in the heavens to guide and protect, washing the stains archaic clean, waking the realm to a morning unbroken.
Weep, o kith and kin; cry for the concord, the blood on parchment, the pact of ages to come. Sing of the covenant signed in the starlight, binding the mortal faith to the Divine; Birth of the Vestiges, ancient and holy, relics of Remembrance left to the world lest we forget what was lost in the making.
Weep, o kith and kin; cry for the wonders, the ages of peace in the cradle. Sing of Kinderthae, thriving and green, blooming in cycles of endless renewal; Washed now in the fountain of youth and rebirth, marching ahead with the heart of a child. Weep, o kith and kin: you are the children, the living and breathing, the greatest wonders of Kinderthae made whole.
